These are sticky but don’t irritate my 4yo skin. And looking like an animal eye is an added bonus to make patching fun

My son recently started to wear patches for a portion of his day and it has been a nightmare. He hated wearing them when he knew he would be around other people because he felt silly. He would "cheat" with his cloth patch over his glasses patch by constantly looking over the top of it and complain that the adhesive patches were too itchy and hurt to take off. These have been a game changer for us. He loves being able to pick out a new design everday and looks forward to showing off his new style. We alternate which eye gets patched everyday, so we LOVE that the patch's design can cover either eye. He says that these arent as itchy as the other patches we have used and feels softer. They seem to breath better than others we have tried and remove a little easier, you can tell that they dont tug his skin as much. I have put off purchasing this product because I wanted to find something cheaper, but the value and comfort it provides make it well worth the few extra bucks. We won't be going back to any other brand.

Son (6 years old) needed an eye patch to strengthen a weak eye he had. Looked around and found these. Figured if he needed to wear them for an hour or two a day five days a week I needed to make it fun. These worked great and after a year of wearing them, the eye doctor stated that his eyes were both even now and we could stop wearing patches. Definitely would recommend!

We love these patches - the designs are great and the adhesive sticks really well without being too hard to pull off. Also great for sensitive skin. I tried another brand that used a bit more of a "pear" shape (angled horizontally) and found the pear shape was a little better for our child's face. Unfortunately, those other patches had an adhesive that didn't work as well for our kid's skin (it caused some irritation and they were harder to pull off), so we'll stick with See Worthy!

I thought there would be 4 designs in this box but there are only 2 - airplanes and trains. They work REALLY well though; stay put and don’t hurt when we take them off. I might try using them a couple of days though because they are a bit pricey for everyday use.

Perfect. Worked as it should

Mi hijo (4 años) había demostrado estrabismo ocasional inducido por hipermetropía. Para corregir esto y prevenir que desarrolle ambliopía, utilizabamos parches de tela sobre sus lentes. En consulta para tener una segunda opinión sobre el tema, la oftalmopediatra nos indicó este tipo de parches. La diferencia es notable, contrario a lo que esperábamos como padres, el niño tolera bastante bien el parche adherido, mejor que el parche de tela sobre sus lentes. Y con los diseños que tienen estos parches, el niño se emociona de poder escoger el diseño, y jugar a asustarnos con su ojo de lagarto o de tigre, o jugar a ser un pirata. El tamaño nos parecía un poco grande para su carita, pero la verdad es que se ajustan bien. Me gustan más que los 3M que son de color piel, e incluso ahora, después de usar estos, esos me parecen pequeños. Además prefiero ver a mi hijo con un parche llamativo, que ocultar su ojo con un parche color piel que a la distancia da la impresión de ausencia de ojo. Ciertamente no hay solución ideal, y cuidar la salud de nuestros hijos es de lo que más estrés nos produce a los padres, los detalles con estos parches es que en ocasiones le molestan al retirarlos, por el pegamento. Para prevenir esto, primero pego el parche en el dorso de mi mano, para reducir un poco la fuerza del pegamento. Y como con cualquier parche en un niño pequeño, hay que estar vigilando que no se lo retire, lo cual de momento (10 días aprox.) no ha sido un mayor problema.
