I enjoy my morning tea ritual with this durable and well-crafted teapot. I add heated water and don’t use it on the stove top. Constructed of heavy, quality ceramic, the lid fits snuggly and keeps my tea warm for well up to an hour. Easy to pour, simple to wash. I clean it with hot water and occasionally a little baking soda. I have run it through the dishwasher twice. The design prevents the water from fully draining when turned upside down, so it must be dried with a dish towel. Aesthetically pleasing, durable, and functional, an all around great teapot I expect will last for years with the proper care. A great investment!

I have gone through a number of teapots over the years and abandoned them all until THIS one. Smartly designed and the spout does NOT drip at all which is a problem I've had with all other pots previously. The size is perfect for four people or two people who drink several cups at a single sitting. Love that the tea stays drinkably warm with the use of a simple tealight. The satin matte textured finish is elegant and minimalist; easy to clean. The top fits snuggly on the top with a built in notch and the tea basket extends well down into the pot to steep properly. The basket also has a handy pull-up handle to make removal of the basket easy. You can use loose teas of course, but I just use tea bags in the basket anyway for an even easier clean up. Highly recommended and would buy again if needed!

The Steinzeit Tea Pot is the perfect size for people who like to drink tea all day and does a wonderful job of keeping the tea warm for a long period of time. Additionally, the infuser works perfectly to steep the tea without making it bitter. I strongly recommend this teapot to anyone who enjoys a good cup of tea.

Brews loose leaf or tea bags very well. Infuser is easy to use, has small enough holes so loose tea does not escape into the water but large enough to hold several tea bags. Water stays hot, love the spot for a tea light to help keep tea warm. Tea pours very well, great design. You do need to boil water & pour into tea pot. You could probably make some tea using only tap water & tea light but it wouldn’t be “hot”.

This is a decent tea pot. Having the handle on the side instead of the top like many teapots does make this a bit harder to hold and pour, so older people or anyone with weak hands/arms may have a bit more trouble pouring from this and carrying it when it is full. It’s a bit pricey at $60, it’s worth maybe $40.

This is the perfect little teapot for any tea lover! Mind it’s not too little, it does hold 4 large (~10 oz) cups of tea. It’s an attractive and simple, somewhat modern design that goes easily with almost any style. The ceramic is extremely sturdy and well made, so I don’t have to worry about accidental chips or breaks when handwashing it, plus it can easily go into the dishwasher. The tea basket reaches to the bottom and can easily be removed, so it has the perfect steep and no left over leaves. The proportions are perfect so it pours steadily and doesn’t drip or leak from the top, and the lid stays on when pouring from the bottom of the pot. It comes with a warmer option as well in case you can’t finish your entire pot in one sitting and want to keep it warm. Overall: a quality & life-lasting product, great for the price, I would recommend to anyone.

I searched for a long time and decided to give this teapot a try, it works well, I bought tea candles to use for it and the tea stays hot and provides enough tea for two people to have two cups each. It comes with a filter basket for loose leaf tea it is well built all around and the package was well done. Nothing broke during shipping.
