4 years later, it’s still doing the job well. I don’t use any of the attachments, just the one trimmer, but it does exactly what it advertises. Excellent, and it’s held up well.

I agree with the noise! I'm considering some ways of making it quieter. The marks on the battery cover and head are small and initially hard to find. You need a well lighted room/area to see the small molded indents. A bit of white paint in the indents would be very helpful. So far, I have only used it once. As for function, it works great! Trimmed my inner graying nose and ear hair perfectly! Used the detail head shaver and cleared the outside ear hair and the pesky hair that doesn't quite grow out the tip of my nose. Cleaned up my mustache neatly and even used it on my eyebrows. If they could mitigate the sound and put some white in the indents it would be perfect!

I seem to have a SUPER-sensitive nose when it comes to nose hair tickles! All of the other nose hair trimmers I've tried (several, believe me!) always seemed to leave me with nose hair tickles that drove me NUTS. This was the first nose hair trimmer that got everything. Much to my relief, I could immediately feel it trimming away stuff that the others had not been getting for some reason. This thing reaches in deeply and closely, so closely that I had to learn to go a little easy with it. Also, the unusually-shaped trimmer head gets the inner concave surfaces that I didn't even realize that my previous trimmers weren't getting - until I felt this thing chopping through it the first time. The only down-side to this trimmer was that it stopped working after only two months. I hope the replacement I just ordered a few minutes ago lasts better. At first, I gave this four stars because of the short life span. But the effectiveness of the trimmer is five stars, and people need to know that. So, I left the rating at five for now. I'll downgrade it if this next one also dies that fast. PS - I almost forgot to mention that I used it to trim ear hair, too, incredibly closely and quickly (no visible "stubble" remains whatsoever).

WORTH EVERY PENNY! As a woman, it's especially embarrassing to show nasal hair. For a number of years, I've used the most common single-bladed "nozzle" type trimmer. And every time, especially in the past few years, this type trimmer would do no more than an ok job and tended to nick my tender intranasal skin -- which would then bleed. Decided there HAD to be a better way. Lucked out finding a nozzle type trimmer with blades on 3 sides. Close shave w/next to no nicks. It got lost during a hospitalization and haven't been able to find another like it. Came to Amazon hoping I'd find a close substitute. This clever gadget was among the first items on my search results list. The price put me off, since I have no use for the shaver heads. But I re-read the reviews and decided to try it despite the price. I am thrilled with the results of using this trimmer. Extremely sharp and effective! No more having just a couple of hairs left standing. No pinching or nicking. I'd gotten particularly "fuzzy" in recent months, hormones I guess along w/not being willing to scrape raw the interior of my nose. No mirror even needed until you want to double-check... Very quick, no discomfort even in the little hollows inside and above my nostrils. I am so grateful that I found this little gem. It came with a battery that provided immediate, full power. I didn't bother reading the instruction booklet, but i made use of some of the comments in the reviews. There is no power "button." Instead, the very bottom of the wand has faint markings indicating off (O) and on (I): turn towards the (I) to get the thing running. First you will insert the battery, though. The battery compartment is accessed by turning the same end segment to the left, (◇). The negative or flat end of battery goes down, towards the business end of trimmer. The case is a little persnickety to get closed again so device can be turned on. Take a close look at the slightly raised areas on the inside of the cap and match to those on the wand. Press down and turn. After you do a couple of times, it's easy. Just to be sure I never *don't* have this nifty grooming necessity, I may buy another. Yes, it's that good. (I bought the regular AA battery model; I didn't want to have to find lithium batts in the future.)

The above-mentioned statement is based on the incredible results of using this product! I had been using various methods of removing my nose hairs since about 2007. The very first nose hair trimmer bought for me by my Mom caused tugging, yanking, and pulling which pained me to no end. I ended up never using it again after the first three attempts. Subsequently, I ended up buying a small set of curved scissors which were ok but still didn't fully satisfy in terms of how much I wanted to remove from my nostrils. A subsequent 'all in one' electric razor purchase came with a nose hair trimmer attachment that seemed ok at first, but then each time I used it, I got a burning smell in my nose which caused me to stop using it. Recently, I decided to invest in a more top of the line model after seeing an increase in the amount of hair in my nostrils. I was originally going to get a Philips Norelco model, but after seeing a better set of reviews, I went with the ConAir model. Oh....my...God!!!!! Instant gratification! The small head that fits perfectly inside my nostrils feels incredible! No pulling whatsoever and the hairs are just falling out like gangbusters! It feels amazing, completely new sensation of breathing through my nose in a way I haven't felt in a very long time! I told my wife it feels like a cave I want to explore without worrying about getting caught in the weeds or bushes! Truly, ConAir has made a top notch quality product that I can honestly say will keep my nostrils free of interference for a long time!

I had high hopes for this trimmer based on reviews, but I'm somewhat disappointed. I received the item in a timely manner and installed a new battery. The nose trimmer attachment, although a little loud, works better than any nose trimmer I've ever had. The beard trimmer / shaver is garbage. It's like it sticks and won't even turn on. Occasionally it does come to life, but the speed goes up and down. I put a drop of clipper oil on the trimmer blade and it did help a little, but not enough to make the trimmer usable. I guess this could be a problem with just the trimmer I received. I decided not to send it back because I like the nose trimmer so well and I just don't feel like dealing with shipping it. I had just returned another nose trimmer (different brand) because the rechargeable battery wouldn't hold charge. I'll be honest, if it had been sold as just a nose trimmer with no beard trimmer attachment, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 3.

I just used this trimmer for my nose hair for the first time... I am beyond pleased! I've been using a variation of the other types of nose hair trimmers (conical electric, flat edge trimmers, etc) and manual plucking and "waxing" (which are horrible experiences). Using the other types of trimmers, they do work, but take forever to get everything, using different angles, etc. NO MORE! With this ConairMAN trimmer and it's apparently ingenious design (look at the images), it mows down everything it can reach, and it didn't pull any hairs on the first use! It's also the closest "shave" my nostrils have had, aside from plucking/waxing. It did not take long, the "motor" didn't stutter when cutting my nose hairs either. I have a very large nose, large and deep nostrils, and hair just keeps growing like weeds in there. This is the next evolution of nose hair trimmers. I can safely say "finally," a method of trimming my nose hairs that is effective and doesn't take much time doing! Thank you, Conair, thank you. *I didn't give a rating on how easy it is to clean, because I have yet to test that aspect, I just had to get this review out instead of waiting, because of the amazing results FOR ME. I hope my fellow jungle noses out there see this review and get this trimmer if they too have been struggling to find an effective way to trim nose hairs as I have struggled. Granted, your experience may differ, but I cannot see how this trimmer will not do better than what you currently have (if you're not satisfied with yours), unless you have tiny nostrils - the tip of this trimmer is obviously a bit bigger than the usual conical designs. ** The directions say to insert the battery positive side first... well, they were wrong, I had to insert the negative side first. Also, it took me a while to figure how to turn it on, there are no buttons, you need to twist the bottom cap to the "on" position (not twisting the cap off), pretty clever design once you get used to it.

El producto es muy bueno para el costo beneficio que ofrece, solo lo recomiendo para lo que es, que es para cortar los vellos de la nariz, lo hace muy bien, no lastima y los trituro correctamente.

I have been using Braun for a couple years, after first trying out my uncle's. I have always noticed that it had a harder time getting all the nose hairs, especially longer ones. So I tried the ConairMan just for comparison, seeing its design was different. I used Conair right after using the Braun, and Conair not only got hair missed by the Braun, but did it very quickly. To be fair my Braun is almost 2 years old so the blades are less sharp, but I remember this annoyance at it taking a longer time and missing some follicles for quite a while, so I think the difference is due to razor design

Been using Panasonic nose trimmers for a few years. They were okay at best. Had this unit in my cupboard for the last 10 months unopened and thought it was time i gave it a try. Was hoping it would be an improvement as i remember it had good reviews. So wow the good reviews were right. Hands down the best nose trimmer i have used. Mowed through both nostrils in no more then two minutes being thorough. Tried the ears and it blasted through that too in seconds. My only query now is how the unit will hold up in the long run.
