Best accessory I’ve brought for my PS3 console so far, it allows me to pair my Dualsense controller without having to go through the settings, and it also unlocks the capabilities you would have on a standard DualShock 3 controllers such.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have small hands and find the PS4 controller fairly uncomfortable, especially trying to use the triggers for throttle/brake and the stick for steering in GT7. I have pretty short fingers so it's kind of a stretch. I'd been looking at new controllers, specifically something like an Xbox One style controller without loving the options. Enter the Brooks Wingman. I have an Xbox One controller I love already, so I figured I'd give this a shot. Picked it up for $15 off on Prime Day, and for $35 to use my favorite controller it's hard to beat. Within five minutes of opening the box, I had the controller paired to my PS4 and working great. Super quick, easy, and painless. One quirk I will note is my controller was connected but not working. I followed the turbo setup instructions and it worked. Shut that back off because I didn't want to use it for GT7 and got right into playing. Took less than ten seconds to get it paired and maybe 30 seconds to do the turbo setup/shut off. I haven't tried remapping buttons or anything yet, since it just works like a PS4 controller straight out of the box and I've had no need. It's honestly less of a pain than getting the Bluetooth to cooperate with my PC, so I may use it for both now. And maybe my Switch 2, as I find the Xbox One controller a little more comfortable than my Pro controller. Time will tell how long it works, but I'm really happy with this. Already picked up three quarters of a second on my average laps in GT7 just having a controller that fits my hands better. If the need ever arises, I will be buying another of these without a second thought.

I have a PS3, but have been using DualShock 4 controllers with it for games due to preference. WITHOUT this adapter, many of the functions of the DS4 are not recognized by the PS3 console such as: Gyro/6-Axis motion controls do not work, PS Home Button does not do anything, cannot use wireless to play PS2 games, as well as unstable connections. This adapter, although a little pricy, fixes all of these issues easily and gives my DS4 controllers all of the additional functionality that was missing. The connection has been perfectly stable, my battery life has on my controller has actually gotten slightly better, and I have been able to enjoy my games to a much fuller extent. Motion controls, vibration in games, and the PS home button perform perfectly and there is basically no input lag. Legacy game support (PS1, PS2, PSP) is flawless as well. This is an excellent little adapter that gives my old PS3 a modern controller advantage. The only negative I have had so far is that you cannot turn the console ON with the controller using this adapter.

I no longer had a Original DS3 controller for my PS3. I needed to install a new SSD in my PS3. Which involved reinstalling the software which only could be done by having access to safe mode. Without a Original DS3 controller you can't access safe mode menu. This beautiful adapter made that happen with my PS4 controller. Without this adapter my PS3 console was dead in the water. This adapter made the PS4 controller fully functional with the PS3. Home button fully working for safe mode and to exit games. Very smooth with no latency issues. 100 percent worth every penny.

I am using this with a DualSense 5 controller on PS3. With the out of the box firmware, the rumble support would always give out after a few minutes of play- wired or wireless. Luckily, after updating the firmware this is no longer an issue and everything works well. Updating the firmware for this adapter is very easy. You visit their website, connect the adapter while holding the pairing buttons, and then you can update the firmware right from their website.

If you are trying to play PlayStation 3 but you don't have a original controller, or SIXAXIS one. This is the tool you need. I got this one to get the platinum trophy in Godfather 2. You need to use SIXAXIS and the fake or 3rd party controllers don't have it and they suck. This tool blew me away with how well it can convert PS4 and PS5 controllers to work just like a original ps3 controller for the ps3. For me this means I can play ps3 with a actual nice controller (i choose a DualSense) SIXAXIS, PS button, and pressure triggers all work with this. there is no lag added (the ps3 already had input lag on some games) I haven't tried the headset port but it wasn't a feature on the ps3 so that's fine. I recommend this tool over any knock off controller.

As of writing this it works out of the box with Switch 1, it needs to be connected to a PC for a firmware update to work with Switch 2.

Excelente produto.

Works as expected for converting PS5 controllers to the PS3 and Switch effortlessly, just plug in and and sync and you're ready to go in about 5 seconds. All buttons and gyro work as expected. Speed is excellent as far as adapters go and you wouldn't really notice any input delay. Wired option is good for non-wireless peripherals. Quality is good, as is usual for Brook (I also have their PS2 Wingman, which is similarly great) which helps justify the priciness, cheaper adapters are available but having used many of them, they usually aren't as stable or reliable as the Brook when it comes to connectivity.
