I needed to use something to elevate my two legacy Radio Shack Minimus 1 speakers (circa 1970) for rear surround sound. The speaker has no holes so I needed to find something that I can mount the speaker to, After studying all the speaker stand configurations, this one did the job. The speaker is screwed onto the mount using short wood screws. The mounting is sufficient for this size and weight of speaker. The stand itself is plenty sturdy and holds the speaker well without rocking. It seems solid enough. HINT: I had the speakers already wired and the system running and thought that the wires can go through the tubes. Wrong, the connectors got caught in the tubes and couldn't pass through to the end. Run the wires through both tubes BEFORE putting the two tubes together. This will save you from cutting off the wires and pulling the wire from the top section to the bottom section. I needed to cut the wire, run a wire from the top through to the bottom, reconnect the cut wires and re-attach the blade connectors. Otherwise run the wires from the top hole and fish it out on the bottom hole and adjust the length all the way to the amplifier before cutting/splicing/installing terminal connectors, etc. These speaker stands are a good buy and I'm pleased with the curved neck and the very sturdy base. Happy listening.

Quite wobbly, so if you have a pet at home, you might want to stabilise it using something. Adding extra rubber to the bottom can help. But the two provided with it are not enough. My particular product was faulty at the top because it wasn't appropriately welded, so I had to use a wedge to level the top part. I expected it to be longer, but it turned out to be waist-high only. Material on the rod is fine but the bottom should have been heavier for stability, for the price it is expected.

This almost cost double of what itโs sold in USA and I got a scratched one :(

I purchased these for my surround system. These work well but where you insert the cables through the stand the connectors for my speakers on the cable ends are too large to fit but it wasn't a big deal I just ran the cables up the outside of the stand. Where you tighten the height adjustments I could almost feel if I cranked them down super hard I could break the plastic finger gripper but didn't over tighten and they are fine. The stands are sturdy and work great so I would totally recommend these and they look good. All in all a great product.

Nice design, easy to assemble, decent quality, instructions were sufficient. I wish it were just a couple of inches taller. It did not clear the top of my couch, so I modified it a bit to get it to the height that worked for me.
