I am an average club golfer, HI 24. I have played Wilson Dx2 and Duo Optix balls for years. Saw these and thought to try them. They are durable, responsive and low in spin through most shots. Great product at great value.

Very decent ball for the price.

The low compression rate of the ball will help youger, beginner and seniors alike but it also great for high/ mid handicap players wanting the extra distance. Im 50, no great shakes as a golfer and have a short, medium speed swing but I've had some really nice 250-270 yarders with these balls with a Wilson Staff C300 driver behind them. It's all a matter of brand and, to some extent, vanity with golf balls and you can spend big bucks on fancy 5 piece TP5's or Pro V1's but the canny golfer will give these a try because even for a two piece ball, and to my mind, they are the best value vs performance ball that most golfers can buy right now. Go on, you won't be disappointed.

This is a fantastic ball for the money. They feel great off the driver and off the irons, even producing excellent backspin off the wedges. They work perfectly for softer greens and I find these to be excellent balls for the colder rounds where you're getting reps in. I don't know how they hold the greens during summer but i was able to make this ball track back on wedge shots no problem during a PNW November round. They feel fantastic off the tee and also with the irons. Wedge shots, pitch and chips are all outstanding and this $1 ball is pretty remarkable in that sense. It's a little softer ball than what I'm used to (Z Star in the Summer) but I can appreciate the extra distance in the colder months. I believe this to be a great all around ball for maybe 90% of recreational players. If you're getting more than 270 on the driver this may be too soft a ball but even then I believe it'll still play well. The one and only down side I found from my round today was the feel off the putter. Definitely feels like a $1 ball and sounds cheap when putting. This is a small issue that's easily acceptable because it does everything else so well for a discount ball. If Wilson put a urethane cover these would be amazing but then it'll probably be a $2 ball. Still would be great value imo..
