Great product, service, and value!
Overall, I have been very pleased with both the product and customer service!! I feel cleaner and more hygienic than using tissue/wipes alone. I'm not sure why bidets haven't had a wider spread in American culture (especially considering how much we spend on hygiene) but I'm happy that they seem to slowly becoming more mainstream. Before purchasing, I had some concerns and I'd like to share them (and my subsequent findings): 1. Would the water be too cold for comfort? Honestly, not at all!! I wasn't sure what to expect in that first use, but I was happy to learn that the water temperature was no issue. It's actually quite refreshing...especially on a hot day. 2. Was it easy to install/remove? This product is very simple to install...and remove (but I have no plan to do that)! My only recommendation would be to purchase toilet seat bumpers to prop up the front part of the seat as this will elevate the back slightly after installation. (They cost about $4 and you can get them on amazon too). I live in an apartment so I can uninstall and take this with me if/when I move. 3. How would it look? Since it's an addition to an existing toilet, it may be a slightly different color than the toilet...but I've quickly adjusted to it. The pressure knob sits on the right side about 4 inches out from the seat (so be sure you have room). Very easy to reach the knob. 4. How is the water pressure? Turn the knob slowly until you find the comfort you desire. I only turn it 1/4 of the way on and it works great!! It may have some dependency on your home or apartment's water pressure...but bottom line is be slow until you learn how high you want to turn it. 5. Effectiveness? I've been very pleased. You 'go', rinse a bit, and pat dry. :-) Occasionally I may still use a bit of toilet paper...but that's far and in between. I really do feel much cleaner using this system than I did using paper and wipes. In all, this is a great product and a great value. It's really good if you've been debating getting a bidet, but didn't want to spend too much without knowing how you'd like it. Give it a shot...I think you'll be very happy.

Bidet IS the best way!
We absolutely love our Luxe Neo 110 bidet attachments; just wish we would have discovered them sooner. Why are Americans so resistant to the concept of the bidet? They are the rule rather than the exception in most of Europe-they have been mandatory in Italy since 1975- and extremely common in much of the rest of the world. We have a large Mideastern population in our area which wouldn't live without a bidet or a shataf, the eastern equivalent. We will always have bidets in our home from now on; no going back. We purchased a Neo 110 for our master bath, and soon added another in our guest bathroom. Installation was fast and easy with no more than a single wrench and took only about 10 minutes after pre-reading the instructions. So on to the pros and cons: Pros: The materials and overall quality seem to be more than adequate. I've seen where some reviewers have complained about the plastic tee connector supplied, but it's of substantial thickness and there is no real stress placed on this element, so I don't see it as a problem. Installation is laughably easy and trouble free. Regular cleaning is also easy, and occasional deep cleaning requires only removing the seat to completely lift off the device and clean all surfaces thoroughly. Cons: the only con I have is the same one reported by many reviewers before me; here in my locale with a municipal water delivery system, the water pressure is excessive at any but the lowest dial setting on the bidet. I agree that perhaps this should be re-engineered, but Luxe does offer an accessory that provides a shut-off valve that allows you to reduce the incoming water pressure, and as an extra bonus, allows you to shut off the bidet water supply, a very practical feature in households with small children, preventing the bidet from accidentally being turned on. I would like to evaluate one of these valves in the future, and will review it here if I do. You can find the valve on Amazon here: Luxe Metal T-adapter with Shut-off Valve, 3-way Tee Connector, Chrome Finish, for Luxe Neo Bidets http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FPYIK6M/ref=cm_cd_asin_lnk Update, July 2016: We're still happy with our bidets, and both are still functioning perfectly.

it's a shame to have to go anywhere but at home!
First off I'd say that my toilet paper consumption has decreased dramatically. At minimum a 60% reduction, maybe as much as 90% less because I really only use it now for drying off. The bidet is so wonderful I (serious here) have even invited friends over to poop and try it out. I find myself annoyed if I have to poop anywhere but home, and when I travel I look forward to returning home to my bidet. I feel that it does a better job cleaning than even meticulous toilet paper and moist wipes. Quite by accident I discovered that on occasion, when the user's body is positioned at the correct angle and under the right conditions (which I'm still not quite sure of) the water will actually find its way into the hole for a bit of an internal rinse-out. I agree with the consensus of other reviewers - the water pressure is excessive and perhaps a bit dangerous anywhere beyond the very lowest settings. This is only a negative if someone isn't aware and just jacks the switch all the way on without any caution. Another possible negative is that it very slightly reduces the space at the back of the toilet bowl, so for standing male urination, this gives guys a bit smaller area to aim at. In this household the benefits for the bidet FAR outweigh the possible negatives. The installation was really a cinch, I don't think it even took me 6 minutes to complete start to finish. I have the TOTO MS853113-01 Ultimate Round One Piece Toilet http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018LB7C0/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is about as close to the wall as the bidet manufacturer's website specifications indicate. It fits very nicely with comfortable room to spare. And the toilet seat (one of the slow-close kinds) needed no adjustment at all. It operates perfectly and with no noticable difference from when the bidet wasn't there. Some reviewers have mentioned the need to use toilet seat bumpers but this was not necessary for me. This bidet _IS_ the way to go. It's inexpensive, seems to be well-made and durable, and it truly does its job well.

Attractive, well made, and works great-perhaps with a small modification.
I've grown to thoroughly appreciate the cleanliness associated with bidet use. Enough so that now every bathroom in the house has one of these add-on units. This model is the latest addition, and the second identical unit I've installed. It seems to be quality construction, attractive in design, and easy to use. Installation is fairly straightforward, however depending on the seat you have on your toilet, it could be a little more challenging as I discovered. Apparently some seats have an attachment design that causes the bidet installation to prevent the seat from lowering completely to the bowl. The bidet is installed between the toilet and the seat. In the other bathrooms in my house, the seats were able to lower on to the bowl with no problem after bidet installation. This particular seat would not do so. I ended up having to add several nylon washers between the top of the bidet and the seat hinge so it raised the rear of the seat enough to allow the front of the seat to actually touch the bowl in the lowered position. I do not believe this is the fault of the bidet, but rather the particular seat design. Use: The only fault I would give this model is in the comfort of the spray. It seems a bit too concentrated and strong. Its not a water pressure issue, as the valve adjustment does not really help. The spray is too fine. I've had this issue previously with another brand bidet, but since I'm an engineer, I was able to resolve the problem with a little tinkering. So I did the same with this model, and it works much much better. What causes this comfort issue is that the little holes in the spray nozzle are too small. It makes the spray too fine, which can sting. So I took the unit into my shop and drilled out the spray holes to make them a bit larger. I don't know what the previous hole size was, but the new ones are 1/64". See before and after pictures. This modification made all the difference in the world. The larger holes make the stream much softer and less concentrated, meaning no more sting! I don't think this was a manufacturing defect, as the other Neo 110 I have had the same issue. Since three units from two different manufacturers had the same issue, perhaps I'm just a bit too sensitive down there(a fourth unit I have did not require modification). However others that used the un-modified units in my house had given the same feedback-it stings. Hence my engineered solution. I will say that this Neo 110 is the most attractive, and highest quality construction of the models I own.

Product works as advertised and adds great value to our daily lifestyle
I have owned both Luxe Bidet Neo 110 and Neo 180. My parents have purchased the Neo 110 as well. The 110 comes with a single knob and the 180 has a few added options in the controls, but the components and build are the same. These are fantastic products enabling hands-free, hygienic, and low-cost cleaning with negligible added burden to maintain. Plastic Parts: Other reviewers have complained about the plastic T-adapter frequently. It is plastic and therefore of lower quality than metal T-adapters. If this is a concern, the metal adapters are available [1]. For me, this wasn't a major issue. I did find a leak once, on the Neo 180 after using it for about 8 months. I unscrewed the T-adapter, and screwed it back in, which stopped the leak. I am guessing I might have to do the same every few months; an acceptable hazard for the benefit this bidet provides. Water Pressure Control: Getting the right amount of water pressure in first try is an art. This is as true with these bidets as it is true for many overhead showers with pressure control option. This is just by nature of plumbing products available today. The designers of Luxe Bidet could upgrade to have even better pressure control but I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all solution that is easy to do. Every building is setup differently, and if this is a significant issue in yours, I recommend pressure regulator units for the entire toilet to control the water pressure to your desired level (these units can increase pressure too). Fitting Under The Seat: This was perhaps my biggest issue. These bidets are fitted under the seat on the same screws that hold the seat. I ended up fixing it too firmly against the back of the toilet pot. As a result, every time someone sat on the seat, the plastic water valve of the bidet hit again the back until it cracked completely. The place where you screw the bidet has a long slit such that you can adjust this right. I didn't read the manuals so I do not know if there was a warning anywhere about this, but I would like to pace a disclaimer here (see below). The only thing I could do is replace the Bidet. Overall, I still think this deserves 5 stars. It is intuitively easy to install, such that I didn't need to read anything before doing it. Even if you have no experience with hands-on plumbing, as I am, the T-valve is just about screwing the fittings on both ends. Ultimately, the spray works as advertised, and there are no serious concerns with durability outside of the usual wear-and-tear of similar plastic-based products that go in the bathroom. Warning: Do not screw the bidet too firmly against the back of the toilet pot. There should be enough clearance for friction. Amazing product - a life changer
I’ve always been interested in owning a bidet. There has always been a certain level of intrigue. The notion of having a cool, assertive jet of water thoroughly clean your nether regions resulting in a fresh behind has always appealed to me. Unfortunately, I always assumed it would be much too difficult to acquire one. I had absolutely no idea the bidet, in this portable, easy-to-install form, even existed. I always assumed they were large, porcelain units which had to be installed next to the toilet (as you would find in Europe) requiring elaborate plumbing and home renovation. However one day, I happened to read on a popular website (Reddit: /r/frugal) that the number one item that is recommended to a consumer both to save money, and to raise one’s quality of life is a portable bidet. I was immediately intrigued and set out to research the matter further. I had a specific price range in mind and I desired one which had an aesthetically pleasing, unobtrusive look. I finally settled on the Luxe Neo 110. The difference this simple device has made in my everyday life is immeasurable. The bidet arrived quickly in a well padded box. There are not a lot of components - the bidet itself, a braided hose with steel fittings, and a plastic tee. Installation was a snap. The trickiest part, and I cannot emphasize this enough, is you MUST make sure the fittings are threaded correctly. Other reviewers have complained about the plastic T fitting leaking water. It should not leak at all if it is threaded as it should be. It took me several attempts unscrewing the fitting and screwing it back to finally arrive at proper threading. Once installed I finally had the chance to try it out! that initial blast of water felt quite foreign and off-putting. I quickly become accustomed though and by the third or fourth usage, I had upped my setting to 2. Anything higher than 2 was just too intense. Of course your results may vary. As for the water temperature, because the water is being fed to the bidet from the pipes in the bathroom wall, the water temperature is typically room temperature and quite manageable, if not pleasurable, during these hot summer months. I do not feel as though a heating unit would be necessary to make me happy. I have used considerably less toilet paper since acquiring my Lux Neo 110. You will still need to pat yourself dry after each use, however the days of “endless wiping” are behind me. Perhaps it is tmi (too much information) but one of my biggest pet peeves previously was having to take ANOTHER shower after a particularly messy movement. Well no more. The bidet does it’s job effectively each and every time. The only downside I can think of is having to “go” whilst at work - I’ve become quite spoiled. If you are considering purchasing a bidet I would strongly recommend you do so! The Lux Neo 110 has proven to be a valuable and respected addition to our household.

Cleanest Butts in Town!
I've had this bidet now for almost 2 years, and I would definitely consider it one of the best "quality of life" investments I've ever made. I'm an adult male living with another male roommate in an apartment, and a lot of people I talked to about it seemed bewildered that I would purchase and install something like this. I'm so glad I did. It's really, really nice to feel "shower clean" every time I use the bathroom. Personally, it's cut my toilet paper use down by about 70% at home, because the bidet does the majority of the work for you. Installation was very easy. All you have to do is turn off the water to the toilet, and connect the bidet's water hose to the same pipe that leads to the toilet (essentially splitting the pipe to connect to both the bidet and the toilet). I have a very old toilet in my apartment (one of the awesome old fashioned ones with an epic flush), and the very old straight pipe leaked after installation, leading me to have to awkwardly call the landlord to have some old plumbing replaced. On a newer toilet that has a bendable pipe, installation would have been faster, and I'm sure wouldn't have leaked. Using a bidet took a few weeks to get used to, because I had never used one before. Now it's second nature, and I miss it when I have to use the bathroom outside of my home. As far as things I dislike, the only major complaint would be cleaning it. This is a bulkier model with a big white plastic connector that braces and sits under the toilet seat, and it requires frequent cleaning or else it will look unsanitary. Because of the additional plastic that secures the bidet to the toilet, cleaning around and behind the seat is harder now that the bidet is there, thanks to the additional nooks and crannies it creates. Cleaning behind the bidet itself inside the bowl is also a pain. Stuff accumulates behind the spout guard on the back of the bowl, and you have to clean around the bidet which takes more time and effort. I have a toilet with a long oval bowl, so the bulk of the bidet inside the bowl hasn't caused me any issues, but it may on a smaller toilet bowl (circle instead of oval-shaped bowls), and I would consider a model with a smaller brace. My friends have a bidet from another brand (Astor), and I noticed the plastic spout-guard doesn't stick out into the bowl as far as it does on this model. I feel like this is something that could be incredibly popular and well-liked in the US, if only people knew they existed. I never see TV ads for bidets, but I sure do see a lot of toilet paper commercials! I will now always have a bidet in my home, wherever I live. What a great device.

It works! And works great !
We came here a few years back, and using paper has always felt unclean and unhygienic and like some other people we resorted to using moist wipes. My travel bag always had a few of them. But it was still not good and a very expensive alternative. After seeing a similar product (I don't remember the name of) at my cousin's place many years back I had totally forgotten it. Very recently when I was again looking at my paper product costs I decided to just search on the internet for it and here I was looking at the Luxe Bidets. This product looked like the best combination of affordability v/s features and I went for it. I couldn't have been happier. The long lost cleanliness is back, without wasting a lot of papers! The only question I wasted a lot of time on was to think whether I need the Hot water Bidet or not - especially because the cousin I had used this thing long back had both Warm and Cold water and it was so amazingly soothing in winters :). But after reading a lot of reviews I decided against it, as 1) In some rented apartments, it's really impossible without doing a lot of holes in places the apartment people won't allow 2) It's more complicated and time consuming to install that than the cold water one 3) It's pricier 4) The water even in icy cold winters is mostly not THAT cold that you cannot bear it for a small time. Of course, I would have loved getting a Warm water bidet if I could do the required fittings for the warm water easily, but for now this is the one I'm using, and I am so glad I ordered it. I recently ordered another one for my second bathroom. I'd upgrade from it only when Luxe releases a product in which they heat the water up in their own device rather than taking a hot water pipeline, just to make it easier in installation. One very important advice to anyone who buys the product: If you have the plastic T junction, DO NOT show your strength and tighten the threads too much while fitting the pipes - you will break it. I had read that in the reviews, but STILL forgot that while fitting my first bidet and broke the plastic T-junction. They also sell a metal one which is what I replaced it with (which also comes with a knob to control the water supply - much better!). In my second bidet, I was cautious and only tightened the screws until it doesn't leak any water, and it was all perfect installed in 15 minutes! I recommend this product to anyone starting with bidets in the US.

Great purchase
I have owned this bidet for 3 years now. It was a simple purchase that upturned my view of the bathroom - It's fantastic. My family has grown to love it too. Definitely one of the best purchases I made for our bathroom. The product its self is great. Fairly simple with nothing really fancy about it. No heat controls, but easy assembly. And pressure is controlled by a dial. I had no issues with the product not working over these 3 years. And as far as my experience with this product has been, I had no leaks or replacement parts needed during this time either. A couple days ago the plastic assembly around the bidet controls to the plastic that goes under the toilet seat snapped almost completely in half. For regular everyday use, this lasted far longer than I had expected. But despite the assembly snapping, the bidet and the controls still work fine. It lasted a solid 3 years, and I think this was an absolutely fantastic purchase for the money, comfort and cleanliness. Will I rebuy the Neo 110? No. I'm now upgrading to the Neo 185 instead. So, why buy this? I think the Neo 110 is perfect if you have never had a bidet before, and want to try it out like I did. It's simple enough that you will understand the point of having one and either like it or hate it.
