Zap!!!
This is a bug zapper and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It's not summer here yet, but we never really have much of a winter so it has been zapping bugs. I anticipate it doing the same in the summer. It is much better looking that the ones that were out 20 years ago though.

Electric Bug Zapper
I got this electric bug zapper to replace one that stopped working even with new bulbs. I found my last one to be very effective and useful during the warmer season to kill flying bugs that easily entered the house whenever a door opened esp flies, mosquitos, moth, gnats etc: Ilive in an area with more insects than I prefer. The design is similar to my previous one. The UV light is bright on this one, even brighter with all the house lights off. The zapper is easy to use with one on/off button. The zapper stands upright if positioned on the ground. It has a bug collection tray, chain for hanging, and protective wiring surrounding the bulbs. I'm not able to test it b/c It's been cold and there aren't many flying insects. I like that it comes with extra bulbs. Only thing I don't like is that it has a 2 prong plug and not a 3 prong plug like my previous one, especially with the high voltage.
