Why doesn’t the manufacturer answer questions about cleaning the blade unit? Rinsing it with water just gums it up.

I never wet my razor I tap and brush only Works like a charm😊 No gumming at all

I can unscrew the mesh screen but that does not expose the blade. How do I removed the plastic piece to clean the cutting blade?
