Medica Algopix Shampoo for Seborrhea with Green Microalgae, Salicylic Acid & Juniper Tar, 200ml

I have been receiving shampoos and treatments on prescription from my doctors for a few years now. Although what I have received has worked they were less effective as the years went on. I was looking on the internet for similar treatments that work and came across Algopix. I have had other tar based products so had the idea it might work but with the other ingredients in it it seems to work better. This is the first bottle of the shampoo I've had and will probably be buying more. The first time I used it I did wash my scalp 3 times with the shampoo You don't need a lot though. Lathers up really nice and massaging into my scalp was easier as I have short hair, lol. After using the shampoo I think it is best to condition your hair too as I can leave your hair feeling quite coarse. It's has a different smell to Polytar but is quite pleasant. Would recommend.

Shampoo worked for my itchy scalp. Just be careful you are buying the shampoo and not the scalp lotion or other similar product. Shampoo in Bulgarian is roughly "wamnoah" (Bulgarian is a different alphabet but the character look similar to these to help you read the packet).

I actually love the smell, which is reminiscent of a herbal jelly drink called Chin Chow, popular in Singapore and Malaysia. But more importantly, this stuff worked really well to clear my seborrhoeic dermatitis. Recommended, despite the price; it is much better than th Neutrogena coal tar shampoo

I bought this shampoo after reading a positive review but it did not work on my itchy greasy scalp and dandruff.

En plus, fait des cheveux gonflants, superbes. Mais attention à l'odeur très forte et très persistante. La première nuit après le shampoing est très parfumée! Il se rince très facilement et mousse peu. Il pique un peu, mais ça disparait au rinçage. A recommander pour les pellicules grasses et la dermite.

Helps control psariasis. It seems to work for me and stop me from breaking out in hives quite so often. Smells like an old school medicated shampoo. I would say the scent is reminiscent of pine-tar and menthol. Surprisingly pleasant all things considered.
