10 Live Ramshorn Snails by Dylfinds for Freshwater Aquarium/Pond Colony Start Clean-up Crew Planorbella Duryi (Variety Mix)

I received 10 snails as expected. After following the instructions to float the bag in the tank, I opened it up and added them into the tank. Despite the instructions saying they may take up to 2 days to come out of their shells, all 10 were alive, moving around, and eating within an hour. I got a good color variety; 2 pink, at least 2 spotted, and a few blues. A couple are too little to really tell what they will be yet, but I am very happy with them. Excited to watch them grow. I will try to update this review in a month or so once they get a bit more established.

The description says "pea size". These are minute peas. If you are using them for a pond, they will be fish food or just disappear. So tiny i could not even tell if they were alive. Also says they will include a feeding wafer, mine did not. Not worth the money.

Beautiful healthy snails for our freshwater tank.

I wasn’t supposed to get these guys until tomorrow or Thursday. The climate by me is 33 degrees out. I was nervous coming home to find a box with live animal taped on it; not knowing how long they been here. Amazon did not notify as they usually do when a package is delivered. There wasn’t a photo. That’s my only beef; that’s with Amazon. Let’s get to the really gnarly part. I followed instruction via the shop seller. I did more research; it turns out these little dudes can go into a forced hibernation during cold weather for a few days; there was hope maybe they would be okay.I let them sit in the bag on top my tank for 10 minutes as instructed. As they all plopped out; I was delighted to see all 11; not 10 but 11 snails poke their little pink heads and eyes out! They are okay! Some have started climbing various things in my tank. Now I won’t give you a full preview of what I got going on in my tank; however I will show you 2 that are noticeably visible with my iPhone 7 lol. They all appear to be healthy as well as different baby sizes. I recommend this seller completely. I do advise those to do their research on these little dudes too. As I am still learning as well. I am very pleased and happy that they are okay. They do wonders in my tank. I can tell the seller takes good care of them too. So don’t be daunted that they are small; they’re still juvenile. It’s so cool to see the different pinks, bronze, and I think I have glossy mauve color too. Thank you to the seller! I would recommend these little dudes to any aquatic hobbyist ! Fantastic :)

I ordered 10 of these guys but they have multiplied exponentially since then. They are great addition to the clean up crew. Just be aware to not overfeed if you dont want an explosion growth. In my tank seems like the golden/copper colored variety are more dominant. I love seeing them slide around devouring biofilm and uneaten fish foods.

Don’t waste your money unless you wanna feed them to your fish. They are so small you can barely see them. When I put them in my fish started eating them and some them even got sucked up in the filter. That’s how small they are. And I’m really not even sure they were alive.This is not a good seller. Snails are not the size they say they are.

I appreciate being able to purchase snails online and arrive alive. I did not receive but half of the quantity it mentioned but these things have multiplied like roaches. They have taken over my tank. My poor Plecostomus can’t find food because there are sooooo many!!! I have gotten rid of quite a lot but not nearly enough as they keep multiplying as quickly as I get rid of them. It’s insane and was not fully aware of this massive issue!!

The snails came in great condition. I got a variety of adults, and babies✨️ They acclimated quick to my tank and made busy work of being my new clean up crew! Thank you for packaging them with care. If ever i'm in need of the snails again. I will be sure to purchase from you🙌
