How do I know when the battery is fully charged on my new device?

The light will go out when it is fully charged, it takes a few hours. Reset the app a couple times and it will show you that the battery is at a 100% on the GPS.

Is there a way to improve battery life by changing the interval at which the GPS information is sourced (having a longer standby time between reads)?

Ok. Entiendo que si funciona en Venezuela. Pero la pregunta es ¿Puedo colocarle una tarjeta venezolana ?

No creo que te funcione si cambias la sim card, ya trae una y viene configurada para trabajar a travez de una aplicacion y de un web site, la aplicacion es paga y solo despues que creas tu usuario y pagas es que se activa el gps.Saludos.
