I have had many of these over the years. Caps lock is nothing noticeable. Better search for "caps lock on indicator" there is some free software that might do the trick. StuartG

Having problems with neck/ shoulders while using laptop, need separate keyboard so can adjust height. Anyone bought this for similar reason?

I have the equivalent wireless versions for exactly that same reason. The laptop is on a 'stand' to raise the screen to the correct eye level, & then I have the keyboard & mouse at desk level, with a properly adjusted chair of course! so that wrists/elbows are level with desk. The keyboard has little legs at the back, which raise the angle just enough for me. I'm looking at buying the wired version to reduce WiFi / EMFs.
