I am powering my Tapo security camera via existing ethernet cable and this poe splitter and it woks as supposed to. Plug and play. Really good value for money. I will get one more.

Works perfectly
Works as you would expect. Ethernet pass through (only the TX and RX pairs which is all you should need) and takes a POE feed from the input Ethernet to provide a 5 volt 2.4A USB feed. I used mine to connect a Heatmiser Neo Hub in a remote location that didn't have 240 volt power available. If you run into Ethernet issues, check your cables first. Not sure why some people posted a negative review, if faulty send back for refund/exchange. Simple. Great price as well.

Perfect to split POE to USB
I've got so many devices and hubs around the home that need both an ethernet connection as well as power. This neat little device will take power from POE to a USB. I no longer need to use a charging block to power these devices anymore. For example I can power a Hue Hub with a single POE ethernet cable!

Does the job
It’s connected to a iPad mini in wall set up it charges fine though very slow but as it’s a wall iPad only used a couple times a day this should not matter it’s well made and does what it says it should do

perfect POE adaptor for iPads
I ordered one of these at first for testing purposes. I charged one of our iPad mini 5s and it charged brilliantly. I was so impressed and bought 5 more of these to charge all our iPads. Also tried to drain one of the iPads to 0% and attached this POE adaptor to see if will manage to wake it up from sleep (0%) and it did!. This adaptor is 5V (10Watts) and the other option was to purchase the VidapowerPOE adaptor (6V-12Watts) which does the same job but the price for Vidapower POE adaptor is £105.00 while this is £7.95.

Failed after less than a year.
Initially ran well; however after less than a year it has failed, it refused to power up. I've other DSLRKIT poe splitters which are still running well however this one has broken. Without buying another I won't know if it's a one off, however I'm not willing to take the risk.

Worked on Hue Hub v2 and Hive hub
Got 2 of these and swapped out the plugs for the Phillips Hue Hub v2 and the Hive Hub. Worked on both straight away no messing around.

Works a treat on my Hive
I have used so I can mount my Hive hub above one of my network sockets in the house and use PoE and the USB socket on this to power the Hive hub. Works an absolute treat.

Supplies power and data
So this does work - for certain things. I’ve powered IP cameras and a RaspberryPI, so it does function for power. With that said, the ethernet cord coming off it does not seem to be connected to anything. The page states that it’s 10/100 but I haven’t had a link light appear on anything that I’ve plugged it into. I believe that this splitter is only for USB power and the ethernet Is not connected to anything. With that said, no issues - just know what you’re getting. Edit: after some research with similar products - data does actually work but you must manually set your ethernet port/switch to 100mbs (not auto or gigabit) - update rating to 5 stars!

Macht was er soll
Funktioniert und versorge damit einen USB Hub mit Strom, welcher wiederum 3 ESP- Boards über USB (POE-USB) versorgt...

As described
Works as described. Using it for PoE so haven't tested data but seems like a good product.

Fantastico. In più lo split ha anche un’uscita Ethernet per poter collegare qualsiasi telecamera non POE. Consigliatissimo!!!
