I’m always skeptical about luminescent dials, and was about this. That was not the selling point, as this clock sits on a wall that has enough light, even at night, to read the dial. I like the dial, with large hands and indices. However, the glow in the dark still works. Maybe because the clock is exposed to natural light almost all daylight hours. Clock's accurate, and a good deal for the price. I’d recommend it.

I don't usually write reviews however this clock stopped functioning properly just right after 4 months from the purchase. It drains battery pretty quickly!
