Product delivered earlier than stated, which was great. Well packaged and I've already installed it in my bathroom, and was easy to install. Looks ok and cord length just right. A little bit pricey but not complaining.

Update: It's been 18 months of daily use and still working perfectly. - Bought because our old bathroom ceiling switch of 20+ years didn't want to switch off anymore. Product arrived promptly and was extremely easy to install, and I'm a woman in my 20s who has only re-fitted one wall switch before. It was naturally a tad fiddly since you're up against the ceiling but it was a less-than-5 minute job. (Should note that I only replaced the lower half of the switch onto our existing base, I didn't need to worry about the new base that connects directly onto the ceiling.) The product itself is what you can expect for the money - it's a cheap-feeling standard plastic but when I was inspecting it prior to fitting, I didn't have any worries about the quality and function. I didn't think it was flimsy; it's very similar to our previous one that had worked perfectly since the 90s until now. Our only minor issue at the moment is the string is considerably thinner than our old one and I won't be surprised if it snaps eventually. We did replace the stopper at the end already with our older, heavier brass one but we held off replacing the string itself with a thicker one in fear it may add unnecessary weight to the switch. So, the initial install and setup has been smooth, now it just faces the test of time. Will report back should any problems arrive down the line.

Really good quality solid manufacturing. Easy to install. Fits together flawlessly. Works. Firm click on & off. Pull-Cord replaceable if necessary, without dismantling the whole thing. Supplied pull-cord a bit too elastic but is strong enough, (unlike my old one !). All good really ! :-)

Good quality and excellent value for money. Like another reviewer, I had bought 3 similar switches of the Homebase brand, all of which started to let me down fairly early on. Spurred on by that other review, I went ahead and ordered this switch. It is better constructed, and (untechnical as this may sound) it makes a more solid "click" when it operates. It was easy to install and came with a longer length of cord than you could ever need - just cut to size. My purchase proves two things to me: 1) shop around; 2) read the reviews.

Good product, works well. Only issue was minor damage before delivery hence 3 stars. But did not effect the working of the switch.

Installs easily - followed the tip of a previous reviewer and added a bit of grease to the mechanism to make it easier to switch on and off with less ‘pull’. Good unit at a reasonable price.

Mein Aufbau: Über dem Doppelbett 2 Schalter in Wechselschaltung. Man kann also wechselseitig das Lich ein- und ausschalten. Das ist das schöne an dem Schalter, dass es nicht einfach nur ein Einschalter ist sondern ein Wechselschalter. Aber kein Kreuzschalter. Ich hatte ihn mir zierlicher vorgestellt und gekommen ist ein massiver großer Schalter. O.K., wie es halt für 230 V Installationen üblich ist. Das Gehäuse ist schön weiß und erinnert mich irgendwie an Bakelit. Ist also hartes und sprödes aber auch stabiles Material. Der Zug ist nicht eben leicht. Man muss schon einigermaßen ziehen. Das ist jetzt nicht das Problem, aber in Zeiten von Sensor- und Mikroschalter eine Umstellung. So hätte man auch vor 50 Jahren einen Zugschalter gebaut.

Diseño tal como específica el distribuidor. De plástico muy rígido. precaución a la hora de hacer los accesos al cableado, el plástico salta fácilmente y puede romperse. El mecanismo eléctrico funciona bien, trae bastante cordón que puedes fácilmente ajustar su longitud.

Muy rápidamente traído. Perfecto. me gusta, es muy práctico. No quiero escribir más. Eso me toma demasiado tiempo. Lo encuentro muy pesado. Nada más.
