Easy and Convenient Watering System
Really easy to set up and works well. I use it for my plants when I’m busy. The solar panel charges fine and the timer is helpful. My plants stay watered without me having to do it every day. Good value for the price.

Worth every penny
This system works great. The set up took maybe half an hour, most of that was deciding where I wanted to place each drip stake. It comes with everything you need, including scissors; it even comes with a cute little garden tool set. The only tool I needed was a screw driver to mount the solar panel. The directions say to dip the drip tubing into hot water before you secure it to the T fitting, don’t forget to do this it makes it 10x easier and ensures a good seal. I heated up a teapot and brought it down to my garden beds so I wasn’t having to walk all the way back to the house multiple times. I have two large garden beds so I ordered two drip systems and ran them both out of the same water barrel. It’s really hot where I live so I have it set to the max: 20 minutes every 12 hours. Even if I have to manually fill up the water barrel once a week this system is worth the money to handle daily watering.

Disappointed
I had bought this in May, 2024 to water my planter while I was on vacation. It worked for a few weeks and then it stopped turning on automatically just before I left in mid-June. I had to ask my neighbor to come everyday and press the button so it would start. Then it stopped working altogether. Too bad it was a nice set up.

Good idea, needs work
Pros: This is a great idea, and I enjoyed the adorable garden tools that it comes with (useless, but cute). On more useful note, it comes with plenty of tubing, tees, drippers, and even includes scissors. It was relatively easy to put together, especially after letting the tubing sit in the hot sun for a few minutes. Cons: the fittings are fragile, and you must be gentle as well as firm when pushing the tubing onto them. After only 2 weeks in the sunshine, they get brittle. They still work fine... so long as you don't mess with them. So set it up, then don't touch it! If this thing keeps working, I'll probably replace the tubing and fittings with better stuff. The in-betweens: the solar panel and pump unit are combined, which makes it awkward to use the buttons on the control panel. I basically memorized where the "manual" button was so I can push it via the Braille method to test the system. Also, the solar panel unit must be higher than the water reservoir so that the "on" cycle doesn't start a siphon that drains the water bucket after the pump clicks "off". Although they provide 15 drippers, that would be fine only for indoor potted plants that only need " a sip" each. For outdoor plants, I wouldn't recommend using more than 8 drippers, in order to provide enough water per plant. I use this solar waterer for refilling ollas (look it up) which then provide the plants with water anytime they need it. Rather than refilling a bunch of individual ollas, I now just refill 1 bucket. I don't know how long-term reliable it will be. Still testing... UPDATE May 2025: I have 2 of these solar waterers, and 1 has quit working after only 1 month of gentle use (protected from rain & moisture). I will attempt to contact the company... UPDATE part 2: Impossible to contact the seller directly, and Amazon makes it difficult to ask any questions outside of their preprogrammed responses. So, there's no recourse. Bad quality product. Waste of malarm UPDATE May 2026: After a year of using several of these solar waterers, I have decided that they are great (with the same pros-n-cons mentioned above). I've had 1 bad pump, which my husband fixed, but then it quit working again a month later, and it's officially dead. The others have worked reliably for a year. You MUST ensure that the solar panel is tilted so that rain\dew runs off, especially for thunderstorms, but a little indirect moisture seems to be okay. They have greatly minimized my water usage, while keeping the plants happy during our dry times! Above I mentioned only using 8 drippers instead of 15 in order to increase water per plant, but it turns out that that is incorrect. Set up with all 15 drippers in order to prevent back pressure on the little pump. Then, if you need to supply more water to a plant (or refilling a larger olla), use 2 or more drippers on it. If you don't require all 15 drippers, then run the unneeded drippers back to the reservoir. I have noticed --after a year of service-- that the water level alarm contacts are beginning to rust, but... still working so far!

Brittle drip lines and water safety restrictions
I got this so that I could have a large water container on a timed drip system into the garden bed. I will say that in terms of watering that garden bed for the summer, it worked well enough for awhile and had some annoyances but ultimately got 2 good months of watering out of it. To summarize the extended information below : instructions say not to get he solar panel wet, drip lines underground became very brittle and broke after 2 months, lots of beeping, overpriced for how much use I got out of it. There are restrictions in the instructions like not getting the underside of the solar panel wet because the button panel isn't water safe. So having it outdoors in a rainy area seems unhelpful. I live in the desert so I adjusted the solar/button box in the hopes of it not getting wet and since it doesn't rain here, didn't have issues with that. The instructions were also unclear on exactly what the different intervals actually mean. After observing for 2 days it was easy to pin down that it would drip for 5 minutes every 12 hours. The beeping for errors like low water is annoying AF. I'm glad that my neighbors didn't complain but I could hear the beeps from across the yard and would run to turn them off until the next day or else everyone around me would probably go mad. The bigger issue was around longevity. After about 2 months, the plants didn't seem to be doing as well and I checked on the drip lines (since they're under the dirt) and a bunch of connections were snapped. I pulled them up to repair the piece that I found snapped and the lines were snapping and brittle and by the time I had the line out, it was too much unrepaired. The blue drippers were fine but all the connector pieces and even points in the line snapped like dry spaghetti. Mystery of the garden turning sad was solved. There were also a lot of times that I would have to push the drippers back under the ground because the vibrating from the machine would slowly move them up in the dirt. You can even see the soil vibrating when the watering turns on. If I was able to use this system for a few years or seasons, I would be happy. But 40 dollars for not even a full season is why I docked the stars. I could probably buy different connectors and re-do it all but my previous setup that cost slightly more and lasted me a few years and no headaches was more cost effective in the long run.

Smart and efficient irrigation system
I love this drip irrigation system because it can be use indoor or outdoor plants. The solar powered or rechargeable battery via USB-C is awesome. The customizable timer settings are very useful to set the schedule, tune watering, and run automatically without any hassle. I have a lot of options to set up a custom layout because this kit comes with long tubing, staks, and connectors. The smart alarm is the plus when it alerts me if there is a blockage or when the water runs low.

Best in the market, excellent support
Initially i was unsure about the product functioning and therefore reached out to the seller, not only they guided me quickly on how to do the setup but were there at each step of my learning curve. I’m very happy with the product and seller of this brand. Definitely recommend!

Buena relacion calidad precio
