Well, Stevie, I owe you an apology—and a big one at that. Songs In The Key Of Life has been hiding in plain sight, quietly shaping my musical taste, sneaking its brilliance into my playlists via covers, samples, and borrowed inspiration. Yet somehow, I’ve only just now welcomed this masterpiece into my collection. Shame on me. Listening to this album feels like finding the missing puzzle piece of my musical identity. Every track, from the soul-stirring "Sir Duke" to the hypnotic groove of "I Wish," feels oddly familiar, as if it’s always been there, tucked away in the DNA of every artist I’ve ever loved. Stevie Wonder isn’t just a genius here—he’s the architect of a whole sonic universe I’ve been unknowingly orbiting for years. This album isn’t just a collection of songs; it’s an odyssey through life itself. The socially conscious "Pastime Paradise,"the transcendently joyful "As," and the sheer poetry of "Love's in Need of Love Today"—each track reveals a layer of humanity, beauty, and groove so deep it’s practically bottomless. How I’ve gone this long without it, I’ll never know. But now that it’s finally part of my collection, I can’t stop playing it, marvelling at how Stevie Wonder managed to pack the essence of music itself into these grooves. So here’s my public mea culpa: Stevie, I’m sorry for the delay, but I’m here now—and I’ll never let Songs In The Key Of Life out of my collection again. It’s not just an album; it’s the Rosetta Stone of soul, funk, and everything that makes music magical.

Bought this as a replcement from old LP that dissapeared .many years ago. Not as good as i remember. How time changes things.

In Steve Wonder fan ,so I'm very biased. I had lost my original cd so I am pleased to replace it with a new copy. Having said that the sound quality is mot as good as the original.

A must have musical album to guide you through the dark days in your life. 1976 and I was 16 with this album sprouting up all over. The 2-CD set so I can take it anywhere I like. Treat yourself to this key in your life. A pleasure doing business

The range and variety of songs is very wide and it is so well paced. Listening to the deprivation described in Village Ghetto Land its hard to think this refers to places in the richest country on earth, yet the arrangement still creates an uplifting feel. Another Star has the most joyous grove which brings a great smile even after all these years. I could go on… I bought it as a teenager when it was first released in 1976 and have never stopped playing it. Even for what was effectively five sides of vinyl, back then it was a very full price - I recall it was referred to as 'Songs to the tune of £7.50'. Audacity was unable to rescue my old vinyl effectively so this reissue was most welcome. I have rated five stars because as an an MP3 download at £1.99 it is excellent value for money for what is a magnificent piece of work. It would be a good buy for old guys like me who want to look back, but also for anyone of any age wanting to hear for the first time the best work of a great artist.

As is typical with Bluray Pure Audio this is a great sounding version of this classic album. I bought the vinyl version in the 70's and the CD in the 80's and this Bluray is the best sounding. I would have given it 4.5 stars if possible as there is no multi channel option just various high resolution stereo choices. The two channel options all sound accurate with appropriate dynamic range. Highly recommended. Bluray Pure Audio is becoming my preferred format for Hi-res audio as it offers great sound often at a better price as compared to SACD or DVD-A. Arrived on time.

Disco perfeito, sem avarias, levemente empenado, mas muito bem feito. Pesado por serem discos de 180gr, muito bem construído.

Prima di tutto: album spettacolare, fra i migliori di quel periodo e non solo, il periodo classico di Stevie Wonder è imprescindibile, difficile non amarlo anche per chi non è particolarmente vicino ai generi che tocca. Per quanto riguarda la spedizione e l'imballaggio era impeccabile, peccato però che ho dovuto fare un reso poiché il primo disco aveva un difetto gigantesco sul lato A che lo rendeva impossibile da riprodurre. Il difetto è senza ogni dubbio imputabile alla casa discografica e purtroppo accade anche se non dovrebbe. Per fortuna i resi sono sempre più semplici da organizzare e in meno di 24 ore a domicilio ho consegnato il disco difettoso e ricevuto quello nuovo. Ascoltato tutto con attenzione ed ora è esattamente come doveva essere. Amazon ha lavorato bene, per questo dò cinque stelle, l'inconveniente non aveva alcun legame con loro. Nota: il reso era possibile farlo anche mesi dopo, senza alcun costo e potendo comunque avere già la nuova copia. Suggerisco l'acquisto, è molto molto difficile ormai trovare questo album ad un prezzo minore. Va bene che è un triplo (considerando l'EP 33 giro) ma trovarlo quasi sempre vicino ai 70 euro non mi sembra ok. Quindi, in fin dei conti, apprezzo estremamente l'album e Stevie stesso, ovviamente, ma la casa discografica ultimamente spinge i prezzi molto più su di altre, che pure producono grandi dischi. Detto ciò non ho che da consigliarlo, godetevelo lentamente vista la sua durata, potrà essere sempre uno dei migliori nella vostra collezione.
