As an owner of the Fujifilm X-T5 in its stunning silver and black variant, I've been on the hunt for the perfect protective case that complements its retro aesthetics. The SMALLRIG X-T5 Half Case truly fits the bill. The dark leather gives it a vintage charm that pairs beautifully with the camera, almost making it feel like a classic piece from decades back. Functionally, I'm impressed by the wear-resistant and scratch-resistant material, ensuring that both the camera and the case remain looking pristine even with regular use. The additional wrist strap and shutter button are thoughtful inclusions that enhance the shooting experience. However, nothing's perfect. After about four months of use, I noticed that the left side near the front bottom mode dial started feeling a bit flimsy. It's not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to keep an eye on. That said, considering the price point and the overall quality and aesthetics of the case, it's a remarkable value for the money. It's a great protective accessory that, with a little improvement, could be the perfect companion for the X-T5.

The case is a good value but I tossed the strap. I don't get why they would pair up a brown strap with a black case. (???) Looks bad to my eye. Still a decent deal without the strap.

Asides from getting it already opened, though the contents seemed undisturbed and not marked or any sign of usage. Just thought it was weird I bought it NEW not open box. Only reason it’s not 5 star. The leather case isn’t really noticeable but feels nice. I like that. But the shutter button makes the xt5 shutter not so mushy feeling. I love it but the real winner here is that wrist strap. I’ve tried many wrist straps and it’s PERFECT. It feels premium. I have rather huge arms and hands and I kind of have to slightly stretch it to get my hand in than it fits like a glove and I love that it’s not all sloppy and loose feeling on my arm. Holding it vertically gives me a lot better grip on it as well they made it the perfect length for me but wouldn’t be a problem either for small hands as it is adjustable. With my hands and wrist it’s maxed out but I feel like it was tailored just for me it just fits that good.

Excellent product that fit the X T5 perfectly. Nice stitching and allowed access to the battery, cards and other peripheral connections on the camera. A well made and useful for protecting your camera as well as providing enhanced grip.

Comes with the case, the shutter button and the wrist strap. All of which are great quality. I thought the leather strap choke would just slide down but it stays put. Fits the camera great

Good quality leather for the price. I set my camera down with ease. The cutouts are a little off, but no issues accessing doors. Adds great feeling grip to the camera as well. Took my camera to 3 different countries and it has held out quite well! I haven’t left home without this attached to my camera since purchase.

I recently purchased the SMALLRIG X-T5 Half Case with Shoulder Strap, and it’s been a great addition to my camera gear. The case fits my X-T5 perfectly, providing a snug and secure fit. The leather material feels premium and adds a touch of elegance to my camera. The shoulder strap is comfortable and adjustable, making it easy to carry the camera around. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that it takes a bit of effort to remove the camera from the case quickly. Overall, it’s a well-made product that offers excellent protection and style.
