Cheese Making Kit - Make 30 Different Artisan Cheeses

The product arrived on time and in perfect condition. I have made three different cheeses from the recipe book. I found the recipes simple to follow, and the cheeses turned out as expected. In my opinion, the item offers great value for money. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Received the kit and found it to be a little smaller than expected, though this isn't an issue as there are plenty of well packed items inside. I started off making the Cheshire cheese as it is one of my favourites and the recipe was relatively easy to follow. I would have liked a little youtube video to demonstrate the basics, but I muddled through ok. The recipe gave me a delightlyfully rich soft cheese that would benefit from a little aging next time I try it. This would be a great gift for someone interested in making their own cheese but didn't have the tools to do it.

This is a good starter kit for anyone looking to dip their toe in the cheese making world. Super easy instructions in realistic quantities designed for homemade cheese. The only reason for 4 & not 5 star relates to the cheese types. The book gives a recipe for Ricotta and Greek salad cheese however, they are more stylised. Once you youtube the recipes you'll soon realise but hay, if your just starting who cares.

We have just made our first cheese, a crumbly Cheshire, which has turned out great. There was everything you needed in the kit, (obviously not the milk, yoghurt or cream). The instructions were very easy to follow. Looking forward to making other cheeses from the book. Jane from their customer service is also fantastic at replying to e-mails. Overall really happy with the purchase and company.

Bought this for my other half for surprise Christmas gift after he mentioned wanting a go at making cheese. Well packaged, lovely gift at a reasonable price. Instructions are clear, simple and easy to follow. We have only made roule to start off with but was a huge (and I mean literally HUGE) success. We now have 620g roule rather than the expected 350g! (And it tastes good) Wish we had made it before Christmas so we could have given some away as a little extra present for friends and family. If the rest of the recipes go half as well, we will be very happy! Would have liked to see more recipes for harder cheeses included although these are obviously more difficult and not the best to start with, for novices such as ourselves. On the whole, wouldn't hesitate to recommend this kit!

I suspect this probably is very good, but the person I bought it for a a gift couldn't use it. They only have a relatively small kitchen. It was clear that with the quantities involved, large pans needed, and space to make and store the cheese (and left-over whey), it was going to be impossible for them to attempt making the cheeses.

Great fun for all, I outdoor have loved a cloth instead of plastic muslin, as you must boil the equipment to kill bacteria, you can smell that ever so slight nasty burnt plastic smell when you do it, and I think it would make such a big difference. I would also prefer smaller quantities in the recipes as it's not practical to make such a huge batch of cheese in a small family kitchen although it's easy enough to do the math to reduce the quantities, you can second guess yourself and make mistakes. I really enjoyed the Labneh recipe as it's so easy, and I never even thought you could do that. Could I also suggest keeping the yogurt whey for Ayran, a great stomach settler! All in all a really fun and quality purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like a change. Get yourself a lot of milk in as you'll be desperate to try everything all at once!
