I recently got a new car which is a VW. I have 3D Gel plates and unfortunately the only two fixing holes available on the rear door are in a fixed position and in order to put on my plate I had to drill through one of the letters. As you can guess this ruined the look of the plate and broke its integrity. I needed a plate holder and after doing some research decided on this one from a trusted brand. It has lots of fixing holes so you can attach it easily, all shapes and sizes catered for but what drew me to it was the lock-ability. It comes with a key which you use to unlock the frame, it has two prongs which need to be inserted into the locating holes fully, all the way or it doesn't work. Once located a quick wiggle and the frame unlocks. I did have to buy some metal washers so the screw heads were secure and couldn't pop through the locating holes but they were pennies. I screwed the plate holder onto the car with two screws and the washers, it tightened down well, the plate locates perfectly and then the frame simply snaps into place and with a click everything is locked and you need the key to get the plate back out. It looks fantastic too. Not too bulky and sets my 3D Gel plates off perfectly and no drilling into the plates required. Perfect. I'm impressed. It may be more expensive than some other options but you get what you pay for and it is a quality cage. Obviously for security reasons I have not attached a photo so you can take my word for it that it looks great.

This is a replacement for previous different holder i had for about 10 months .Issue with previous one's was it closed at the bottom and didn't secure the number plate properly and kept coming undone, even with extra tape to secure them. This product is absolutely brilliant , from the moment i put them on front and back they felt secure , the holder was secure and the number was also secure and didn't move. I would definitely recommend this number plate holder.

They claim to hold any UK plate, which they do. But it ends there. The plate bounces around the frame which is cheap and tacky! Best of all! You can’t return it! It’s not like it’s a pair of knickers is it! Avoid

I ordered these NUMBER PLATES from this company and what a good decision it was. The site on Amazon was very easy to navigate and to customise the said vehicle plates. I placed the order from an excellent range of items even down to the Wurth plate holders and adhesive pads plus pads for shock fitting behind the plate to stop vibration 📳..only use the holes fixing the old plates to the car and screw on the holders then slot the new plates in the Wurth mounting and lock em' 🔐 in with the supplied key.the service from this company is second to none I was late sending the v5 etc by email and Moses no jokes please.a really brilliant fellow rang me and asked me if ide send em' so he could post em' at 5pm..what a nice guy very helpfull..and the next day 11am delivery by the post office..fantastic service..if God sold on Amazon he would learn loads from these guys..the plates are absolutely stunning. Be great on the Skoda...carnt say enough about the personal service from Moses and I'll need some soon for our other runaround so I'll order the same from them no problem...well done Moses and staff...A++
