I am delighted with this product it woks perfectly. It is a nice compact design unobtrusive when connected to my all-in-one desktop PC. The service and delivery was excellent so I would highly recommend this product.

Works.with win 11. Plays well with no skipping. It's average speed or so it seems. Overall very happy. There are also card reader ports which are hopefully going to come in usefull.

Nice little drive. Does what it needs to do. Love that the cable is attached and sits neatly underneath for storage. No having to find a USB cable to make it work. Just a couple of design issues which annoy me. 1) all of the SD & USB ports are at the back. Which makes accessing them difficult on a busy desk. 2) The micro SD port. When you insert your card it sticks out the back quite a bit. Unfortunately I pushed the unit back on my desk and snapped the Micro SD card in half rendering all my data null and void. A £40 SD card full of data gone in one accidental swipe. There is nothing to protect it. Not sure why a fully insert system like you have on cameras and mobiles phones couldn't have have been used. (In the process of designing and 3D printing a solution) for now I've now taken to selotaping a bit of card over the SD card to protect it. 3) the button to open the front tray is raised so I'm constantly catching it and spring the disc tray open.

Works well, can store it in its delivery box to keep it safe. Ideal for using with the laptop we travel with.

Good product, easy to use and good value for money

Great external CD/DVD drive; comes with multiple connection cables (USB/USC), so very easy to connect to your laptop/PC.

I want to start by saying I've only used this drive with an M1 MacBook Air, I've not tried it on a PC or other OS. I bought it to rip my audio CD collection, and at first I had some issues with the discs not auto-mounting. I had to go into Disk Utility and manually mount the CD, then it worked fine. However after a reboot and a few hours use, it magically started working correctly, so I'm going to put that down to an issue with MacOS more than with this drive. It's something to keep in mind if you don't see your disc being mounted on the desktop though. Then build quality feels a little cheap, the drive is very light and a bit bulky thanks to the built-in USB hub. It seems like it's put together fine, it's just not a premium feeling device. Also, the hub and card reader on the back are quite slow, so not something I would use, except in an emergency. This drive has an attached cable with USB-C and USB-A connectors, which is quite convenient, especially if you just want to travel with it. No extra cables or power supplies required. However, the cable is only about 20cm at full stretch, which means it might not work well as a permanent part of a desktop setup, as it's going to have to sit right next to your computer. Those minor niggles aside, I had no other problems when using this. It read CDs, DVDs and CD-Rs just fine. I've not tried the Lightscribe functionality or writing disks yet, so I can't vouch for those features. Overall, it feels a little cheap, but it gets the job done and it's good value.

Supposedly plug and play. I have 2 good spec laptops less than 3 years old that have never had a problem with any peripheral plug and play system. That was until I bought this. The give away is that when your system won't recognise the player then the very poor information provided basically tells you to download a CD/DVD driver programme for your device or contact their helpdesk. Fine if you have a quirky or unusual system but NOT plug and play on a standard windows laptop. You are being told "actually it doesnt really do what we claim" Rubbish
