Thule Stravan Sleeve for iPad Mini - Dark Shadow

Lovely quality case. Using it for my Kindle Oasis 2019 which fits in nicely. Zip pocket for charging cable etc.

My iPad has a thin plastic back cover but fits in the case with a snug fit. Well padded and should protect well if dropped. Some room for a cable and other thin "bits" in the outer zipped pouch. Very good value with swift delivery.

I have an iPad Mini 4 (fitted with Apple Smart Case & Apple Smart Cover). This 'Thule Stravan sleeve for iPad Mini', will NOT fit the above iPad Mini, even WITHOUT 'Smart Case & Smart Cover', fitted. A sligtly bigger - in all THREE dimensions, with more padding & better zips, plus bigger outside pocket - Thule Subterra (I have one of those) DOES fit above iPad Mini 4 (& therefore iiPad Mini 5, too - with same Apple accessories fitted), even though the seller described it as being for only iPad Mini 1, 2, or 3 & before or just after iPad Mini 4 was launched. The Subterra Exterior measures over 218mm x 150mm x 40mm. The quoted Thule Stravan sleeve 'dimensions' are NOT accurate, and ate actually less than quoted, so Stravan is SMALLER than Subterra not bigger. iPad Mini 4 measures 208mm x 139mm x 11mm with Apple accessories fitted which only add a couple of mm to each dimension. ACTUALLY ACCURATE (according to steel tape measure) EXTERIOR dimensions of sleeve: 'EXTERIOR Length' - from zip end to other end - IS 210mm, not 22 centimetres (needs to fit with INTERIOR dimensions of a lot MORE than 208mm). NOT long enough INSIDE, zip WILL damage iPad &/or a case/cover too. 'EXTERIOR WIDTH' - from one side to other - IS 140mm, NOT 162mm, also not really wide enough, INTERIOR stitching and 'padding' will be over stressed - assuming zip even closes, does NOT with MY Stravan Sleeve - so needs to be well over 139mm INSIDE, obviously with padding added to that, causing EXTERIOR Width to be a lot more than 140mm! EXTERIOR THICKNESS - Front side to back side - IS 20mm, NOT 28mm, but still relatively easily 'thick' enough for iPad Mini, but only ONE suitable dimension out of three dimensions being 'good enough' does NOT work! I have no idea of the dimensions of iPad Mini 1, or 2 , or 3, except they are LESS than that of iPad Mini 4 & 5.

撥水加工ということで期待していましたが、掲載されてた写真のようにはじいたのは最初だけだったようです。 あとは問題ありません。iPadもきちんと収まり、余裕もあるのでちょっとしたメモも入れられます。キーボードやカバ−がついていてもいけると思います。 正面のジッパー付きのスリットにもiPhoneやルータを入れられます。 とても良い商品でした。長く使うと思います。

This is a very nice little case for an iPad mini -- even if you've added to the bulk of your mini with cases, etc. I've got a remarkably good Native Union case which covers the back and sides, bought at the Apple store, combined with Apple's smart cover. The whole shebang fits inside this Thule case (just barely, but it fits!), and the case is lined with a very soft material, something akin to "faux fur" which is perfect for protecting your stuff. This would be a better buy at $29, vs. the $39 I paid. It seems clear that the case didn't cost the manufacturer much to make. And a roomier version as an option would be great. But skiers and 'boarders will be thrilled with the Thule logo we're used to in the ski world, belying or at least contrasting with other reviews decrying the boldness of the logotype. I love it, reminds me, from a skier's perspective, that winter is just around the corner -- even in July! Smart, elegant, functional, put together well. You'll enjoy this added protection for your iPad mini.
