The Push and Go Red Rescue Fire Train from Spin Master is equipped with a movable ladder that is not only used in fires. The red freight car with jumping mat offers space for transporting other material and can be easily hung on the locomotive by small hands and uncoupled again. A small push is enough and the train rolls on the floor or Mighty Express rails (sold separately) into the next adventure. But what would the Red Savior be without the rest of the team? All train characters are available separately as hand-operated push-and-go trains as well as a figure set and various play sets. As stated, they only go when you push them, and to be more specific they should really be called "rolls when pushed" trains but my son loves these characters and we were able to get them very affordably in this 3 pack. They are smaller than the motorized Mighty Express trains which makes them a better fit if you are using them in the Mission Station Wash. They do have pictures of Liza, Nico and Max riding inside them, which the motorized ones do not have. Over all I think this set is the best Mighty Express toy we have purchased (and we have bought quite a few!) If you are not a Mighty Express fan, however, I would urge you to pass on these. As far as toy trains go they are really mediocre, my son just happens to love the show and really wanted these specific characters.
