While a higher-end coffee brand may have some more boutique flavors, this budget brand offers a good tasting decaf espresso at a low price. I wanted to have an option to use my espresso machine at night without caffeine. These pods gave me that option. In addition to tasting good, the pods load in very well. Some pods seem to have too large of a rim and fit too tight. These fit perfectly when you lock them into the machine.

It gets the job done. Good taste. No its not the best tasting pods ive ever tried but we enjoyed it. For this price it'd be hard to beat I would think. Only bad thing is you only get one shot out of each pod. Try to get another and it'll come out way too weak for my tastes anyway. Still, great price, good taste, I'll buy it again.

At the price, $.30 per pod, these are a steal. Amongst decafs, I have tried Nespresso brand, Starbucks brand, Garibaldi brand, and these along with a. Couple of other no-shows. These are better, in aroma, bitter presentation, and sweet finish, than the Garibaldi, and seem equal to the Nespresso and Starbucks competitors at twice or thrice the price. Stock up now.

There are better quality decaf espressos out there but it’s not affordable for me to make a habit out of them. I’ll keep coming back to these ones. The bulk order suits my needs and the price is excellent especially with the added discount of a subscription. Work great. The way I do it is to do one long pull (shot) for volume and then a short pull for flavor and density, basically like a single and a double combined. That works for me. Big plus that if you’re getting them to be truly decaf, they really are. I wouldn’t risk drinking it late in the evening, because any decaf has a trace of caffeine, but I do not get buzzed, wired, high, speedy, or experience any of the negative effects of caffeine from this espresso. If I get any energy from it it’s negligible—your mileage may vary. Flavor is a bit flat but robust enough for me especially using the technique I described above. I do recommend it!

The pod, after about 10 seconds, delivered coffee grounds into the cup! I tried this with two pods and it happened both times. 50 pods for $ 15? You get what you pay for—in this case, a waste of money!

Works fine in the Nespresso classic Brewer and seems to have minimal caffeine effects. Great taste though I usually brew it kind of weak.

Coffee is acceptable, maybe a little stale - but I had a huge problem with the capsules. They seem to be very restrictive in flow and weak, difficult to feed without crushing. I got used to this and I am nearing the end of the package, won't buy again. The largest problem happened on my very last sleeve, there was zero water/coffee coming through into the cup, but pump was running, and straining. I had to stop the machine, something was wrong! And now the machine would not open. I am not a weak guy and as I pulled up on the handle, it felt as if the handle would break. I unplugged the machine and move it over to a more open counter, let it sit for a few minutes. At this point I said to myself basically, heck with it, if the machine breaks so be it. SO I REALLY got on the handle and it did pop open - the Amazon capsule that fell out was completely and perfectly crushed on all surfaces, as if was taken 8000 feet below the sea. Never punctured on either end. Almost the the capsule was undersized to begin. Again, just not worth it. Use a good name brand.
