I’ve never used one of these before so I don’t have anything to compare it with, that being said for the price this seems like a really nice unit. I’m using it to measure the amount of water flow through my portable 8000-grain water softener, and it works great and feels decently well built. It has a handful of useful features, including the two most important features for me, which are: it keeps memory of total gallons between battery changes, and it automatically turns on when it detects water flowing (I know that I’d forget to press the on button half the time, thankfully not required!). I haven’t done any detailed accuracy tests, but it seems quite accurate, and is certainly good enough for my needs. It states that it’s accurate within +- 5%

I've always wanted to track the amount of water I'm putting into my rv. Not just the fresh tank, but the 5 or so gallons I like to put into my black tank before using it. Prevents piling. This little device finally enabled that and made it easier than filling a bucket and pouring it into the toilet, or sitting there counting the minutes and seconds trying to determine how much was going in thru the pressure regulator. Our pressure where we live varies. So far, it has been reliable, accurate, was easy to connect, and appears to be well made. They even gave me a plastic 'coin' to open it and install the battery that they supplied. It doesn't leak and is easy to operate AND read. It even shuts itself off after a period of time when it isn't being used. You know, like after you shut off the water but still leave the hose connected? 5 stars for me!

Works as I was hoping gives gals on single, average or total I use on my DI tanks so I know how much water I use per vehicle and how long the media last before water spots, good litter meter

I used the water flow meter to measure the gallons of water when filling my motorhome fresh water tank. It worked very well and seemed to give an accurate count of gallons of water when filling my tank.

The product does not work. I was unable to use it initially as we had illness. When I was able to use it, it was 6 days past the return date. I called Restmo three times and left a message but did not receive a call back. It is impossible that it would not work at all. I am really disappointed with their customer support. Restmo has contacted me and is replacing the water flow meter. I am looking forward to receiving it as if it functions as advertised it will be exactly what I am looking for. Thank you Restmo!!

This water flow meter is one of those tools I did not know I needed until I had it. I use it when washing my truck so I can see exactly how much water I am using. Sounds simple but it is actually really useful for tracking consumption and being more efficient with my wash routine. No more guessing or wondering if I left the hose running too long. The digital display is clear and easy to read even in direct sunlight. It shows gallons used in real time so you can monitor as you go. I like knowing the numbers because it helps me be more conscious about water usage. Plus it is just satisfying to have data on something you do regularly. Information is power even when it comes to washing your truck. The brass inlet is a nice touch. Plastic fittings on hose accessories always feel cheap and tend to crack or strip over time. Brass holds up better and gives me confidence this thing will last through seasons of use. It threads onto the hose smoothly and seals well without leaking. Build quality overall feels solid and durable. Setup takes about thirty seconds. Screw it onto the spigot, connect your hose to the other end, and you are ready to go. The meter sits inline and does not restrict flow noticeably. Your hose pressure stays strong and the meter just quietly does its job tracking usage in the background. Battery life seems fine so far. It uses a standard battery that is easy to replace when the time comes. The display has been consistent and accurate based on my rough estimates of water usage. I have no reason to doubt the readings and they match up with what I would expect. For anyone who wants to track water usage on outdoor tasks, this is a great little tool. Washing vehicles, filling pools, watering gardens. Whatever you are doing with a hose, this tells you exactly how much water you are putting down. Useful information that helps you be smarter about consumption.

There was no mention of this in the product listing otherwise it would have got 5 stars

Out of the box the unit looks quality built; unfortunately, it only reads in gallons; kind of inexplicable why the input connector is brass and the output male connector is plastic which did not squarely fit any of my either plastic or brass female ends; stripped the plastic thread a bit and the female end did not squarely fit though I torqued it down and used teflon tape to seal

J'ai acheté ce débitmètre il y a près de 2 ans. Je l'ai utilisé une dizaine de fois pour remplir le réservoir de mon campeur. Il fonctionnait très bien. Cependant, il a complètement arrêté de fonctionner. J'ai communiqué avec RESTMO, en leur expliquant que la garantie était échue, mais qu'il était frustrant que cet appareil soit brisé après un si petit nombre d'utilisations. Ils m'ont offert de m'en envoyer un autre, sans aucun frais. Je l'ai reçu une semaine plus tard. Bravo à cette entreprise pour qui le service à la clientèle n'est pas qu'un slogan vide...

Good toy, added to so many other toys. I bought it to get an idea of how much water I use for my tomatoes (try to figure the cost geting them from my garden - hahaha!). Also, the see how much water I fill in my RV water tank. As I said, use a good tool as a toy!
