Q: Will this work on a mid 2010 imac?

Bought one when I saw it on offer with the intent of using it with My 2010 27" iMac, as soon as I got a new iMac. I haven't fitted it yet but I can see no reason why it would not fit.

Sorry I have no idea, I used it on a 28” 2014 iMac

The earlier 21.5” iMacs cannot take a VESA mount as far as the Apple website is concerned. Earlier 27” can’t either. The Amer is the only bracket I found after a lot of searching and the website is fairly comprehensive. The issue is the way the stand locks into the back of the screen. There are however some sites where you can bolt a bracket on to the existing stand but it really looks Poer!
