Fiskars Classic Embroidery Micro-tip Scissor

Excellent quality and small enough for my embroidery box

This is a trusted brand and one I have used for a long time. It never disappoints me. The scissors are sharp and cut thread very easily, especially with the pointed ends. I really like the small size, as it makes them much easier to use when getting into well-hidden parts of a garment or trimming threads close to the fabric. The grip feels comfortable and secure, which makes them easy to control when doing detailed sewing, embroidery or garment work. They are also very portable and easy to keep in a sewing kit, craft bag or beside the machine. The blade cover is a useful extra, especially for storing them safely or carrying them around without worrying about the sharp ends. Overall, they are reliable, sharp, comfortable to use and handy to keep nearby. I would happily buy this brand again.

Absolutely excellent scissors, worth every penny. I bought these to replace a very old pair which finally - finally! - gave up the ghost and I do not for one second regret paying a premium for such an excellent product.

Great scissors very sharp

After having owned a pair of red handled Fiskars scissors for over 18 years it was time to buy some new ones due to the handle snapping on my old ones :( These scissors are very sharp and have very nice blades on them as with any Fiskars scissors. They are lightweight and fairly comfortable to use although I would have to say they are not as comfortable on the fingers as my 18 year old ones. It seems that Fiskars now makes the handles of the scissors slightly thinner and less ergonomic than they used to, my old scissors had more chunky rounded handles to them whereas these scissors seem to be thinner and less rounded. Overall they are really nice scissors but not a patch on my 18 year old Fiskars when it comes to comfort using them. I hope Fiskars go back to their more ergonomic styling.

Tja, dann ist es mal passiert, die 'alte' kleine Schere ist nicht mehr auffindbar und ausgerechnet die, mit der man selbst vorne mit der Spitze sehr gut schneiden konnte. Das Problem ist, eine Schere sollte man in der Hand halten und ausprobieren und das haben wir in vielen Geschäften gemacht, waren aber nicht immer zufrieden. Weil wir mit Fiskars-Scheren bisher immer zufrieden waren, haben wir dann doch entschieden, den etwas höheren Preis zu zahlen und unsere ersten Arbeits-Ergebnisse geben uns Recht. In früheren Rezensionen wurde bemängelt, dass die Schneidleistung an der Spitze zu wünschen übrig lässt, das können wir überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, die Schere, die geliefert wurde schneidet einwandfrei und ganz genau bis zur äußersten Spitze, selbst feinste Fäden ganz leicht ohne Druck. Auch Testschnitte in ganz dünnes Papier einwandfrei, glatt und auch da bis vorne zur Spitze und mit einem sehr guten Gefühl in der Hand. Kurz gesagt: Genau die perfekte kleine Schere, die wir haben wollten und da hat sich der höhere Preis schon bezahlt gemacht.
