Nutrition Bars, 60 g, Birthday Cake, Pack of 12

Nearing the end of its best before date ! Even tastes as though they are old. Shame! For the price it shouldnt and one should be informed if thats the batch being sold.

I didn’t know they did coated bars, they’re covered with a white coating (with multi-coloured sprinkles in it.). I assume it’s a yogurt type coating, as it’s there’s no chocolate or cocoa listed in the ingredients. These taste sweeter than other Quest bars, but that’s not a bad thing. I admit I was a bit dubious about buying these due to them being birthday cake flavour, but having tried them I think they’ll make a nice change to my normal ones.

My favourite Quest bar flavours are peanut butter brownie smash and blueberry muffin - not only do they taste great but also have a contrast of textures that really elevates them above other protein bars. Not a fan of the birthday cake - it just tastes like vanilla with sweeteners and the texture is like an ordinary chewy protein bar. It's identical in taste to Grenade birthday cake bar.

Unfortunately some bars (4/12) were incomplete in the wrappers. So paying for half bars essentially

Decent. Tastes like birthday cake. (One of those cheap, kids party birthday cakes... where the icing came in a packet and was wrapped around chunks of sludgy victoria sponge in a factory somewhere). But that's good, because it's a protein bar... and that's what they were going for. Smashed it.

too sweet! These used to be nicer ! They’ve changed! The coating is not necessary I won’t be buying again They don’t taste healthier than other bars...

Ok, little dry . Smell good but don't taste that much like birthday cake.
