Totally worth it.
There's a reason this item sold out repeatedly. It works flawlessly. I will concede that it takes a moment for Android Auto to be fully operational in my car (Sync 3 equipped Ford) with my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note9) but the time is less than five seconds longer than it took with a wired connection. The miniscule extra time is more than offset by the convenience of not having to plug-unplug a USB cable into my phone. Very, very pleased with the device!

Protection!
Great little case does exactly as intended! Could be a little more snug.

A little difficult to install but provides good protection
When you look at this case, you'll think, "No way is that USB plug gonna fit through that tiny hole!". Well, it will, it just takes a little perseverance. Once that's done, pull the plug and cable through the hole in the case, stretch the case over the MA1 and you're golden. It does leave the "Motorola" logo uncovered as shown in the photos; I would rather have had it cover the adapter completely. Minor complaint. The case leaves the bottom of the adapter uncovered so that you can use the sticky pad included with the MA1 to attach it to a surface. The case is thin enough not to interfere with the use of the sticky pad. Recommended if you need protection for your Motorola MA1.

Originally I was looking for just a black silicone case to protect my Motorola MA1. I'm glad they came as a two pack and one was gray. It matches the dash where it's located perfectly. The black would have stood out like a sore thumb.
