It works
It's a filter. And it fits. And it seems to be genuine. Once upon a time this was the kind of thing I could pick up or order from my local hardware store. Not so much now. Lawnmowers seem to be all made of plastic and good luck trying to source bits when you inevitably hit that rock! Very greatful that I can pick up Briggs and Stratton spare parts so easily on Amazon to service my machines each year.

Perfect
Perfect fit. My lawn mower was struggling and the plug was getting sooted up fast. In inspection the air filter was clogged up as it hasn't been changed in years! 5 min job to change and the mower is running great again.

Not genuine Briggs and Stratton part
The item that eventually arrived was unbranded, made in China. I'm sure it will still do the job, but it is not the Briggs and Stratton filter described and pictured.
