What is the different between the "black terra adapter" and the "terra adapter"? just the color?

The colors represent the type of air cylinder your Soda Stream uses the black screws on the machine the pink is a quick connect ,disconnect fitting found in newer soda stream machines. If you look at the photos of the black fitting you will see threads and it is a non Terra or a system that uses a blue air cylinder and the pink fitting is the one for a Terra system with pink air cylinders hope this helps

Which part to connect to a Drinkmate?

if your Drinkmate is use blue co2 cylinder, you can select stainless steel hose style

Would this adapter work for art sodastream machines it has the same hook up as the terra machines?

Yes, it can works on sodastream terra machines. 1,You need take out the valve from sodastream co2 cylinder, and screw the valve on our adapter (it means you used the sodastream valve still, our adapter like a connector); 2, you need buy our stainless steel hose (B098B4HRVM) to connect the big co2 tank, like 5lb or 20lb.

Why is the gas pressure low?

Pressure is unregulated and is high unless the tank is nearly empty or the valve button is unable to fully depress the gas opening valve. This can happen when the hose is not securely attached or you are using a Terra model Sodastream.
