Co-Mate Chimney Cleaner (2.2 lb.) - Complete Chimney Care, Removes Creosote, Reduces Emissions, Protects Against Corrosion

So far so good. Using a couple of ounces daily as instructed. Seems to be converting any potential creosote to dry particulate carbontjat does.not build up. Important to remember to burn your woodstove fires hot.

This product is so easy to use. Just pour into a cup or, what I do, your ash shovel. Then dump into your firebox onto your wood. The next time you go to put wood in, the creosote will have caked up, loosened, and even fallen into the firebox. This works much better than the logs I've used. It's also very safe to use as there are no harsh chemicals. It also helps balance the acidity of your firebox and flue!

i wasn't sure of it, but it does do what it says. i run a camera up my chimney regularly, and it has been cleaner. glass on my stove stays cleaner longer too. be sure to clean the creosote out as it drops in little pieces and mixes with the ash. seem like a good value, and good quality.

I have tested this side by side with other cleaners. This one actually works and turns the creosote into a sort of rubbery skin that removes fairly easily with a nylon brush down to (stainless steel) metal.

When I open the fireplace creosote comes out

After the end of a season, did not have excessive chimney buildup. Added 2 tablespoons per fire after fire burning about 15 minutes

I use it in my old parlor heater and it seems to work as I haven't had any chimney fires.

So far it seems to be working well. I've run a fire in my fireplace.We're pretty much daily during the colder weather

I think this is a good product, I was having draft problems and would get smoke coming from the front of my stove when adding wood , I swept my chimney but didn't get much soot out. After using Co-mate in a few burns I swept my chimney again and was very surprised a the amount of carbon flakes that came out. The stove is working very well again, I can open the door and all the smoke and flame is being drawn to the back of the fire box. This is one product I will definitely purchase again.

Great product. Reduces creosote build up in my wood furnace. I use 1/2-1cup a week and it easily triple the time between cleaning the heat exchanger tubes. Burning seasoned birch and dry spruce.

Excellent product. This is my second purchase. Makes cleaning the chimney pretty easy. There is nothing like it at the hardware stores.
