just below my glucose result on the monitor screen is "Ketones?" My result was over 13. There is no info on the enclosed instructions. What does this?

These strips are good for people who understand how to translate the info, but I found the sugar ones a bit confusing , but would think 13 was a bit high. Having said that blood sugars go up and down all day long and true readings can only be determined at a blood fasting level normally carried out by a Gp. Ketones are a different matter they can be detected in a urine sample and might suggest things are not working as well as they ought. What ever if you are concerned you need to see a doctor or go for a consultation on line at push doctor.
