A must for travel with little ones!
I donโt have a spare bedroom that I can convert to a nursery when my toddler granddaughter comes to visit, so this was our answer. The Slumberpod can be placed anywhere that a Pack and Play can be set up. It provides a dark space for baby to nap and the fan turned out to be a gamechanger. My friend who is also a grandmother has a previous model without the fan and she was concerned about air circulation. Not a problem for us! The instructions are clear, the set up is simple, and when not needed, everything folds up into a carrying bag for convenience and portability. Very, very happy with this purchase and recommend the Slumberpod to all my Grandmother-to-be friends.

A Travel MUST-HAVE!
If you can only invest in ONE travel item, it's THIS... hands down! The SlumberPod tent is one of my top shared baby items to all my friends and has been a total game changer. We travel often (whether it's long vacations or quick overnights) and this has not only kept our baby on her normal sleeping schedule, but made our travel experiences so much more enjoyable and easy! This pod can be set up within a few minutes (same style as a normal tent with the two buildable rods that snake through to hold the structure) and broken down even faster. I think at this point I've been able to do it in under 5 minutes! Especially if you (or anyone) are sharing a room with your little one, the pod goes easily over virtually ANY size crib, pack&play, etc. and creates a breathable but fully black-out sleeping environment. Depending on the room temperature, we sometimes use the fan which goes into a little pouch on the side to create additional airflow/circulation but often times don't need it. We're able to keep the lights on in the room without disturbing the baby given its ability to provide a true black-out environment. You can also easily check on baby with the zip front. We also hook our travel sound machine onto the crib inside the pod for a sleep experience just like she has at home... it's great! When traveling, the pod (and rods) pack down well and we typically just roll it up to save space. We've never had an issue packing this item into any bags... even if it's a small weekend bag... it's worth it! A few things to note, however: there is a pouch that says you can put your video monitor in, however, I wish this feature was better because the plastic doesn't really work to be able to actually see through when you put the monitor (in our case- nanit) in. One solution we have found (which is a bit of a DIY hack is we just bring packing tape and tape our monitor onto the side of the crib if we need to use a monitor and that works for us.) Additionally, to use the fan (and camera), you have to be pretty close to an outlet because the cords aren't very long, so one recommendation could be to pack a small extension cord, not use the features or find a place in the room that's close enough to use an outlet.

A travel essential
This is a genius bit of kit for travelling parents. It allows you to put your kids to sleep in their travel bed and still allow you to have the lights on and have conversations without the little one from being disturbed. We used with a little night light and sound machine so it drowned out any noise from us. It's lightweight and fits in my eu sized suitcase. There are plenty of vent holes and the fan is a must for circulation of air otherwise it gets a bit stagnant inside. Only two criticisms I have is: 1. The ends of the tent poles are quite sharp and wore through one of the straps so I had to get a machinist to replace it and have now made plastic covers for the end of the poles. 2. I like to use a nanit camera with the tent so I can see inside while he sleeps. The positioning is quite difficult because the clear plastic creates some reflections for the night vision ir lights so causes the images to become blurry. You have to position the camera perfectly to be able to see anything it personally change that design to have it mounted inside the tent with some velcro straps. Overall I would highly recommend this tent for anyone who travels and sleeps in the same room as their child!

Great but expensive
I bought this for a trip to Disney when I knew my family of 5 would all be in one room. I waited to buy this until baby #3. Maybe I would feel differently I purchased this with baby #1 and got more use out of it. Material: The material is lightweight and does a great job actually creating a dark environment. I also was worried about my daughter overheating. I put a fan in the top pocket and she was always a normal temperature when she woke up! Design: I personally donโt love the design. I found it hard to get my daughter in her pack and play with the shape and size of the opening. It is large. But when sheโs sleeping on me and I had to transfer her, she almost always woke up from my elbows hitting the sides of the opening. Also my daughter figured out how to unzip the opening to open it whenever she wanted to get out. Size: It fit very easily over my pack and play crib. It also breaks down to a tiny nice package size. However, I didnโt realize thereโs no bottom, likely for safety reasons. So it just it is like a cone of fabric thatโs goes over the crib. Fully assembled with the poles, it did take up way more space in the hotel room than I was expecting. Assembly; I was able to quickly (in about 5 minutes) assemble it the first time without reading the directions. It was just as easy to breakdown as well. It also easily packed bag into the carry bag which is sometimes a problem with items like this. Overall: Itโs a great product when needed. However, for the price, unless you travel a ton or are planning on using for multiple kids, Iโm not sure if itโs worth it.

Fan broke after 1 use
Bought to use at my house for my grandchildren. Used once and fan no longer works, reached out and was referred to slumber pod through Amazon for warranty and have not heard back. Very disappointed- should have gotten the Hicapop one!

Worth it, seriously
Worked really great for sharing a hotel with my toddler. There are many air vents and pockets for the fan and monitor camera. Fit right over our pack and play. He loved it so much we kept using it all week at the rented house even though we didnโt need to. He didnโt want to get out of it! Easy to assemble and take apart. Worth every penny.

A must buy for travel or room sharing
Truly one of the best products out there for babies/toddlers. Advertised mostly for vacations but let me say- we room shared with a 1 year old for 3 months and this kept us sane. Kept his sleep environment dark but allowed us to move around without having to use flashlights. Definitely get the fan as well! We have also brought this on vacation and it folds up and travels well. A must buy for traveling families!

Stand out product
Truly a stand out product. Perfect for traveling with baby or if baby is sleeping in your room and itโs not always dark and quiet. The quality is so nice all around. It was simple to set up and fits a pack n play perfectly.

Must have for travel with toddlers
Great blackout for the toddler so we donโt need to eat dinner in darkness!

Upgrade in plastic camera pouch needed
Great for travelling, small, compact and easy to set up. Only issue is that the plastic for the baby monitor gets crumpled and impossible to see anything in the dark when we place our baby monitor inside. For almost $400, one would expect a bigger way to attach baby monitors.
