This is a high quality large vessel. I bought it to make a double recipe of a French beef stew to serve 12. The bottom is heavy and so there is no chance of scortching or sticking. All of the aluminum is excellent. I’m so glad to add this cooking vessel to my kitchen. It is the purchase that will last a lifetime!

I recently purchased the made-in 8 qt and 12 qt stockpots, as well as the 3 qt saucier. Their 5-ply construction is impressive and it looks, feels and performs as a high-quality product. There is nothing flimsy or cheap about this cookware, imo. The lids fit tightly, the pots sit evenly on my gas burners, they heat evenly and are easy to clean (now that I've learned how to *Properly* cook with stainless I've had no problems with food sticking). I haven't had any issues with 'staining' as some reviewers say, but I suspect that is either from the type of water you have, detergent used or that sort of thing. Also, I am short so I especially like that the stockpots are 'low profile' - they are short and wide rather than tall. With minimal care this cookware should last many years, especially for the home cook - but I could easily see using this cookware in a commercial application. For the price I don't think you could do any better. I definitely recommend to anyone looking for very sturdy cookware that is also attractive.

Buy this if you place a value on quality. Replaced my old stock pot that I bought 30 years ago (it had copper bottom that finally warped). I expect this one to last even longer. 5 ply is so important if you’re tired of burning stews and sauces. Just a quality piece and yeah you pay for quality. I found a six quart is perfect for a family of 3 or 4 and perfect size for everyday things like boiling one pound of pasta. I use it on an electric glass top burner and it’s perfectly level. Would be even better on gas.
