This is the most beautiful and practical countertop accessory! It is heavy and extremely luxurious. It also hold a lot of butter; I fit almost 2 sticks in there easily. I live in extreme heat and my butter stays fresh on my countertop for at least 2 weeks and I change the water every 2-3 days.

Great Product

There is a water line in the butter container which you do have to fill. I got lazy one time and emptied the water and refilled the butter and didn't refill the water. . . . Mold.(within a week) Anytime i've had water in there, perfect. This may be obvious, but rather than test it yourself, let my experience save you a stick of butter. You could probably fit 2 full sticks inside of this, but I usually put one. I was worried about water getting all up in my butter but it really isn't an issue. If you're worried that much you can take it out, and tap it on a paper towel so it doesn't drip. It's pretty sturdy ( I wouldn't throw it across the room or drop it...) But normal washing, dinging, and clinking around seems fine (no chips) I wash mine in the dishwasher and haven't had any issues. Great color, good gift, or splurge for yourself.

Works well, I change the water (distilled) weekly. Butter lasts. Size- holds about 1/2 cup, Dishwasher cleans well. It is as spreadable as butter at room temperature. I have petite hands and the bell is easy to pull out of the holder!

We love this brand because it is great quality and it lasts (you will pay a pretty penny for it though). The color was beautiful and it matched a theme we were going for (it looks exactly as pictured). It is great, we use it almost daily! We have not had any mold issues like I have seen with other reviewers (for butter crocks). I do change the water out every 3 days, and use filtered water (or water that has been boiled). I do a quick clean of the crock before adding new water and I wipe the butter section with a clean paper towel. I really recommend getting a good butter like Kerrygold. You also have to really pack it in the butter crock or it can fall out in to the butter (I did not have that issues but saw some other reviewers mention that, but found it the butter is packed tight enough it will not fall). We tried 5 different sites to get this same butter crock, all were out of stock. We were so happy when Amazon had it! It shipped quickly and it was wrapped really well. I was so nervous it would be broken, but there was bubble wrap and it came double boxed for protection.

Only giving 1 star so I can leave a comment. Please please do not purchase anything from the seller. I was not happy with the way the butter tasted after leaving it in the crock. I’ve always left my butter out on the counter and it’s tasted fine, but leaving it in this water for some reason, just didn’t taste good to me. So I sent the product back via UPS with the label that the shipper provided me. Somehow the package got lost never made it back to the seller. I have proof of dropping the package off ups they still will not refund my purchase amount because the package was lost apparently. Just trying to warn people this is a third-party seller that is not living up to Amazon standards. Beware.

I normally love everything from Le Creuset and I do like this piece quite a bit. The reason I am giving this product a 4 star instead of a 5 is because I thought I could leave this on the counter for safe storage and I can but I have to remember to replace the water reservoir every 3 days. Which I will have to remember to make part of the routine. Other than that this is a highly crafted product that holds up the Le Creuset name. Comes in many colors to match any kitchen deocr. Would make a great wedding or shower gift. 1 Star: I do NOT like this product nor would I recommend purchasing this product to a friend. 2 Stars: I mostly do NOT like this product but it has one redeeming quality or is of some value. 3 Stars: I like this product just fine. It's a pretty solid product but it may not be my favorite. 4 Stars: I like this product A LOT, and like most things about the item, but there may be one minor drawback but would still highly recommend it 5 Stars: I LOVE this product, would buy it again, and would buy it for a friend without hesitation!

A manteigueira é linda e atende o propósito que é manter a manteiga conservada em temperatura ambiente. O único senão é que passando de 28/30º celsius de temperatura ambiente o produto perde a eficácia de conservação e a manteiga fica tão pastosa que derrete e começa a cair na água. Recomendo muito, mas para utilização em temperatura até a acima mencionada.
