OXO Good Grips 1L Angled Measuring Jug

It’s decent sized & the measurement viewing is simple but effective, the markings do work a treat. It’s sturdy as is the handle this was a concern for me but it’s solid. I personally haven’t used it in the microwave or a dishwasher but it is meant to be safe for both so I’ll assume that it is? My BIG issue that weren’t mentioned in the product review & I didn’t see it mentioned in fellow customer reviews was if it would be alright with boiling water poured straight into it & the result (as pictured) is yes it’s absolutely fine with boiling water being poured straight into it (I use it for tea in a Thermos amongst other things) it’s a fine jug, it does its job well.

Great size, good value, markings easy to read, very durable and this is our second one purchased.

Great idea to be able to read the measurements from above,we all know it can be ackward reading the side of a jug.So for that design feature well done.Not sure why they call it a 4 cup jug unless this was made for the american market.But its not rocket science to pour a cup of say water into the jug to transfer the measurement to litre's or fluid ounce's.Then our american friends can use this much easier.i say all this because there are no cup measurements on the jug,yet they advertise it as if it has.The pourer is adequate ,Handle is cushioned so comfortable to use.this size jug is the largest in the range and is quite expensive for what it is,A plastic jug with a fancy handle.4stars

Saw my friends oxo jug ordered 1 there & then great addision to my kitchen very east to use.

Having purchased, and been pleased with the quality of other Oxo Good Grips products, I decided to buy this jug. Previously purchased (cheaper) plastic measuring jugs had after a while failed to work for their intended purpose, due to repeated cleaning in the dishwasher, leading to the measuring scales flaking off the side of the jug. The 1 litre measuring jug is the larger of three sizes available (250ml, 500ml & 1 litre) in the Oxo Good Grips angled measuring jug range. The measuring scales on both the side and angled ridge of the jug are up to 1000ml and 32 fl. oz, and in intervals of 50ml and 2 fl. oz respectively. A new version of this jug is available, which includes the scale for US Cups, however at the time of writing this newer version is considerably more in price. The angled measure makes it much easier when cooking, as it avoids the need to crouch down to see if you've added the correct amount. Additionally the scale on the angled sections is backed by a white laminate, it will hopefully stand up well to repeated dishwasher cleaning. I agree with other reviews that this jug is probably not the best if you're looking to use it for heating food in the microwave, however if like me you intend only to use the jug for baking, then this will do the job. The spout comes to a very sharp point, which makes for a very good poor and the contoured handle is very comfortable, which is especially useful when needing control of heavy full jug. In summary I would recommend this jug, it's well designed and well made.

Literally the best jug I have ever owned. Makes measuring liquids a thousand times easier!

We used to live in the States so have a lot of recipe books which call for cup measurements. Loved the Oxo angled measurement jugs I bought many years ago, but they needed replacing. Specifically searched for ‘cup’ measurements, and checked the photos which clearly show measurements in cups and ounces. What came? Completely metric jugs!! While I know I’m now living back in the UK, and that 99.9% of people will want the metric versions, I specifically chose these for the cups. I can convert, it’s not like I can’t, but it’s a pain when my US jugs made it so easy with no thinking. Haven’t decided if I’m going to keep them (I bought all 4 sizes) or return them yet. 3 stars because I love the jugs themselves - great way to measure and very sturdy. They just don’t do what it says on the tin as far as the measurements go! 🥴

Dosatore super, molto robusto, bello da vedere. Molto conmodo nell'uso: la misura si vede sia lateralmente sia dall'alto. Costoso, ma dopo averlo utilizzato è difficile rinunciarvi.
