performance is pretty good and does not exhibit speed fall off on large transfers; as up till now all other usb enclosures have,. usually blamed on cache and heat but this keeps trucking at fast rate. display handy to selectthe best usb port, as many dubious manufacturers claim usb 3.0 gen 1 or 2 ports but are not despite displaying the blue color.

To Get the download speeds etc you need to update by emailing Dockcase and is a bit hard if on Mac as you have to use windows but so far so good. Connects to my Mac no problem I did change the supplied cord as it kind of gets in the way with the usb A adapter but that is also good to have if you need to use that.

They seem pretty good so far but I wish they where a little cheaper and had a deluxe version that was thunderbolt instead or at least 2000mbps speed instead of 1000mbps as you can get decent quality enclosures for at least half the price of these without the display or capacitor, I’m not saying these are a rip off though I just wish they at least did twice the speed for the price and could take upto 8tb storage Instead of upto 4tb, saying that I wish I could actually afford 8tb but still, they seem great so far apart from that, they look and feel high quality which I would expect for the price.

Best enclosure I've found / used so far. Feels very well built, made of metal so heat dissipation is excellent. Very fast transfer rate. Screen is useful as you can verify the connection rate, and the 10s safety battery is a lifesaver if you unplug it accidentally. Highly recommended.

I must say after reading the hype I was sceptical but it has met all my expectations with ease, super fast transfer rate even from my phone it is my new travel companion

Couplé à un M2 Onyx P41 de 1To, les vitesses de transfert sont excellentes. Livré avec un câble 10Go. Sur MacOs faut le ré-formater.

Posso permettermi di recensire con le stesse identiche parole entrambi i modelli che ho acquistato e che dopo piu' di un anno di uso estremamente intensivo. Sia con il modello che puo' accogliere M2 2230 che quello che puo' usare M2 2280, la qualità, l'affidabilità e la fiducia che si puo' riporre nel prodotto è totale. La costruzione è solida, dissipa perfettamente il calore anche in caso di uso intensivo, è resistente e obiettivamente molto bello. Le informazioni presenti sul display sono utili e ben strutturate, la soluzione dell'accumulo tramite condensatore per permettere un eject pulito cambia totalmente il modo in cui si intende l'affidabilità dei trasferimenti. Uso entrambi i prodotti in ambito sistemistico, e non di mero "accumulo" dati, quindi con letture e scritture continue e consequenziali. Il modello con l'M2 2280, accoppiato con un partizionamento journaling poi è sinonimo di affidabilità assoluta, senza nessun tradimento e nessun byte perso. Così come ne ho acquistati piu' o di uno per uso personale e professionale, così ne ho consigliati decine di esemplari, tanto sono sicuro della loro affidabilità. Il servizio clienti, poi, è da premiare senza se e senza ma. Veloce, cortese, assolutamente affidabile, completamente in Italiano, professionale come si vorrebbe fossero tutti i servizi di assistenza. Un vessillo di qualità a fronte di prodotti estremamente affidabili. Chapeu!

Bellissimo e funzionale ... consigliatissimo

Élégant et bien pensé. Ecran lisible malgres sa petite taille. Un seul bouton pour piloter et changer les options, un peu fastidieux mais on l utilise peu...acceptable. A noter = difficile pour moi de trouver des informations techniques (options de boot) , le site Dockcase est minimum... Et il est compliqué de faire une mise a jours firmware...peu d indications sur les dates les releases les corrections.... Un produit tout de même sympa qui fonctionne bien.
