Worth it
Works exceptionally well. The fermentation, after adding this, really woke up. The yeast became very lively several hours later. There is a definite difference between adding nutrient and not adding nutrient. If your wine ferment is sluggish, this will perk it way up. Easy to use. Easy to follow instructions. You'll need to do a little math for small batches. Worth the small cost of this.

Great yeast nutrient for a good price
My favorite brand of yeast nutrient for making mead. Give the fermentation process a good jump and added in part way through to help extend the process for a dryer tast. Very convenient resealable bag is nice as well

Great for honey mead
This worked great to kick start fermentation in my yeast. A couple of things I wish I knew before I opened it: 1. It's VERY dusty, if you plan to pour it into a secondary container just be aware it's going to send up a dust cloud. 2. It's a little bit heterogeneous so you probably do need to mix it up a little to make sure you're getting all the components in each scoop. Again, more dust. But these are small issues to get a good fermentation going. As I understand it honey must is low in nutrients so a good nutrient additive greatly improves the fermentation.

Seems to do the job, but be sure to mix
Seems to do the job. One issue is that most of the mix is very fine powder except for what I assume are the DAP crystals, which are like fairly coarse salt. Because of this, if you try to dump straight from the bag, the crystals will shake to the top and come out first. The only way to do it is to use a scoop and stir it before scooping. Not really a big problem, but I see it as a minor problem. Maybe there's a reason they couldn't have powdered the DAP crystals to allow them to homogenize with the rest of the ingredients, but I don't know what that reason would be. But that aside, it's still a perfectly fine product.

Works with cider
I brew only cider. But have tried a couple of nutrients and this one seems to do well consistently.

Perfect for balanced and quick fermentations.
Like Fermaid-O and Go-Ferm this is quite a fine powder, but it also has small chunks in it. Beware as the smell is quite strong, and the packet may "burp" a little when resealing. So far has really helped kick off my fermentations I have used it in. As I have said with Fermaid-O and Go-Ferm from this company it is more expensive than it is in the USA but worth the price for its use!
