IRWIN Vise-Grip Original Locking Pliers with Wire Cutter Set, 2 Piece, 36

I saw on the torque test channel how vice grips out perform many other brands for locking pliers. I had a few locking pliers that game with tool sets and they looked nice, big rubber cushion grip handles and such, but they were terrible for holding material. These have the key opening so you can really get them locked on. Fantastic, they perform very well. I got rid of my other fancy ones, I think their probably more for looks than anything. But these, they're about getting the job done, which in my book is the most important factor in a tools usefulness. Highly recommend.

Had to take some broken super rusted sway bar links off my Subaru. I used these to grip the ball (no joke) and was able to get them off without using the rusted allen head. I even used the smaller needle nose one to add additional grip to the bolt\shaft part of the sway bar ball joint. The ball made a little mark on the jaw's teeth but I don't see it hurting them unless you're using them like this every day. Especially for the price you can't beat them. The metal seems high quality, with sharp teeth and strong clamping.

Look good and go the job

No issue with product this far, but one plier was loose inside the bag. I suspect the product was a return and not properly repackaged.

This was the real deal. Named Brand and solid. Already used putting a lawnmower tire on it's rim and holding a crankshaft pulley while I used a breaker bar to loosen the bolt. Didn't budge a bit. 10/10 would recommend. I also received it within 12 hours or ordering even though it said 3 days. Obviously results may vary on that.

To be honest, I think this needs to be replaced. These long nose vice grips naturally close misaligned. One way they can't misalign at all but to the other side they are completely out. I haven't used them at all. I can't seem to submit a return which is frustrating.

Strong jaws that resist twisting like the cheaper ones.

Très utiles pour presque tout faire. Mon ancienne pince( de la même marque) a 40 ans, elle commençait à être usée,les dents de serrage. Très bon achat.

Souvent imitée mais jamais égalée, l'originale il n'y a que ça de vrai ! Quelle qualité !
