Outstanding value
I was a little hesitant to order this product. A 10X42 Monocular for under $20..00 I had second thoughts. I did however order the product and I was very surprised of the quality and clarity of this "mini telescope." Once you get use to adjusting your eye to the view it is very easy to use. Why do I say this, if your eye is too close or to far from the eyes piece all you see is black. With a few adjustments this issue is resolved. Instructions very basic not much info...only to moveable parts focus knob on top of the monocular and the eye piece adjustment you must adjust the two to get rid of the black view. Absolutely a great value for $20.00. I am a stargazer and just to have something small and easy to spot something quickly in the night sky has enhanced my stargazing experience. I also got it to use when I hear something at night or if my neighbor's dog is barking (a very good dog by the way, only barks when he see's someone) looking out the window at night your eyes can play tricks on you, "is there someone by that car or is someone moving in the shadows", with this monocular you can easily see what is going on at night.

Great value, works like a charm
I use product for bird and neighbor watching. You will not find a better monocular for the price. Clear crisp and bright viewing. Two focus wheels work together to produce clear images. First zero in on focus using the top wheel. Then fine tune your focus with the eyepiece wheel. The two focus wheels require just the right amount of effort to change focus. In other words they don't jump all over the place when you touch them. Also has eyepiece relief adjustment. About 6 mm of adjustment. handy for me cause I wear glasses. Love the exterior coating. Very much non slip, almost a little tacky. very nice. Comes with connection on bottom for mounting to tripod. It does not have a special night vision feature. But you can use at night if you are looking at something that is lit. Only suggestion for improvement is to have somebody that is better versed in English to write the instructions.

Great buy! Very Clear
I have been looking for a monocular to help me read small numbers from 10-50 feet away for my job. I work in large facilities with elevated equipment that is hard to reach, but I need to know the numbering on the machines in order to collect my data an make decisions. Since buying this, I have dramatically increased my efficiency at work. I tried a couple before this but none could focus to the clarity level I get with this monocular. It is slightly bigger than I originally wanted (around 4-5 inches), but I found I actually like that. It is easier to stabilize at longer distances. The small adjusting nob on the top is very helpful as well when I want to quickly scope in on something I need to see very clearly. It is decent quality and definitely feels more expensive than it is. Would absolutely recommend. Could see it being good for nature watching as well.

Not suitable for all purposes
I needed a lightweight scope to bring with me on archery ranges or courses. I think for the price this has suitable quality but it just wasn't clear enough for me to see where my arrows landed from even 40 yards. I ended up going with high-range binoculars as I found monoculars hard to stabilize. It's probably a great item for hikes or walks. For more precision purposes, I recommend spending a bit more money.

Compact and powerful!
I have always enjoyed observing the wildlife in the woods facing my front picture window. I recently bought this monocular to bring those deer under close observation. This scope came in simple easy to open packaging. The instrument is compact, and just heavy enough for stability to reduce shaking. The tube has a rubberized surface which allows a secure grip. The device is designed to be held and operated with one hand. Focus is accomplished by means of a single side mounted knob. The optics produce a sharp and clear image, of higher resolution than expected in a device at this price point. The eyepiece has two positions, which deliver a limited zoom effect. The vendor delivered on time as promised. I am completely satisfied with my purchase, and it stands ready on my windowsill.

Great product, If you want to change from binos look no further
I absolutely love the monocular. I have taken it bird watching already and it’s great. Very clear image, the main focusing knob is in the Perfect spot and perfect size as well has a super smooth action. The size and weight is perfect. The twist up eyepiece is great because sometime i bird with glasses but can still use the monocular because I still have a large field of vision especially with the eyepiece twisted down. Overall a fantastic product, 5 out of 5 stars, worth every penny lol. It does just as a good job as any of the big name brands like Nikon, Zeiss, or Swarovski but at a fraction of the price. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a interest in optics who may want a change from binoculars.

Great for the Price
It is a easy to handle and adjust the magnification for precise viewing. The field of view was excellent. It appears to be well-designed and sturdy. If dropped from eye level or lower will probably suffer no damage. I do not like that the lens cover for the eyepiece is attached to the monocular by a hand strap that is secured by using the threads normally used for a tripod. If a tripod is used, the hand strap must be removed thus losing the security of the hand strap and potentially losing the hand strap and attached screw. The cover for the large lens is attached via a rubber hinge. Although better than the eyepiece lens cover, it wear over time and be rendered useless. The user manual's English translation is a bit off. For example, it states "Eyepiece rotary parts can be compensated more precise focusing. This could be better translated to Eyepiece rotary parts can be adjusted for more precise focusing.

Honestly not bad for the price. 10x42 gives you a decent bright exit pupil, and is a good magnification for many activities. I used this after having 8x21 binoculars, and I'm never going back. Only complains are it does have a plastic-y initial smell. It goes away, but you'll notice it out of the box. Comes with a lens cloth and wrist strap. The lens cover for the objective lens is integrated right into the rubber housing. The ocular lens has a cover that comes off easily, but is pretty standard for most optics. The wristband screws right into the 1/4" screw, which will probably accept most other camera accessories and tripods. Easy to focus, easy to use, easy to see. I wouldn't test the waterproof claims—take care of your optics, even if they're only $30.

Non ho riscontrato nessun difetto evidente. L'odore del materiale di cui è fatto è appena percettibile e, come spesso accade, credo che sparirà nel giro di pochi giorni. Ottime caratteristiche generali, ottima visione e luminosità. Vale più di quello che costa.

Product descriptions indicates that it can focus to > 1.5m object. Should be > 5m if not slightly more. When turning the focus dial, it makes a plastic noise like a plastic wrap being twisted. I'm returning this item. I replaced it with a Gosky Titan 12X50; the quality is way better and so are the optics.

Product is really good for beginner birders. I’ve had it for a month and have used it almost everyday. Good construction and nice weight to it. Has fogged a little on really wet days but can still view out of it and it clears fairly fast. The eye piece cap doesn’t stay on snug and can come off easily but not a huge deal as it is attached to the base. Great product for price, highly recommended.
