McCormick Minced Garlic, 3 Oz

I love cooking with fresh garlic, but let’s be honest—not every meal needs the extra step of peeling, chopping, and dealing with garlic-scented fingers for the rest of the day. This minced garlic has become one of my favorite kitchen shortcuts. It adds great garlic flavor to pasta sauces, soups, vegetables, marinades, roasted potatoes, and homemade garlic bread without any extra prep work. The texture distributes well throughout recipes, and a little goes a long way. I also appreciate how easy it is to keep on hand in the pantry for those nights when I want a home-cooked meal but don’t want to spend extra time prepping ingredients. My rule is simple: if a recipe calls for garlic, there’s a good chance this is going in it. Convenient, flavorful, and always ready when you need it. A small jar that earns its place in the spice cabinet.

I put this in all kinds of things, from stir fry, to sauteed mushrooms, soup, or even as a topping on my noodles. As soon as it makes contact with anything moist, it rehydrates and tastes like very flavorful minced garlic. It doesn't stay crunchy, as I had thought it might. I bought this and the minced dehydrated onion on a whim and while I use the onion a bit here and there, I use the garlic a lot more than I thought I would. Almost every day, depending on what I'm cooking. McCormick makes great products.
