One of the best herb to a nice ‘chimarrão’, this ‘erva-mate’ is not so suitable for a cold têre-têre, it's more for a traditional chimarrão, with hot water and you can also add other teas together such as: chamomile, fennel, mint, orange peel, ...

This is a product that I usually buy in the Brazilian markets around London (the same brand!), this time I was quite short of time and decided to give a go on the Amazon one. 40% more expensive than usual, the product that should be vacuum sealed (like a ground coffee pack) was partially open (two small cuts probably due to poor handling/storage). It might seem over care but the contact with air makes the product go dry and tastes like it is overdue. I bought two packets and both had the same problem, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Next time I will find time and buy the usual in a market in town!

This is different than your normal Yerba Mate as it is a lot finer, found it hard to use / drink it in a gourd with bomilla, maybe I need a Brazilian girlfriend to teach me. Not to be too disheartened I used a french press then poured it into my gourd, happy with it now. Safe to say come a sunny day you could bottle half this and half water with a touch of sweetness of your choice. Chilled Chimarrao 8²) (Boom)

People complaining that the grains are too small are probably trying to make tea or "Tereré", for which this is not meant. For the original Chimarrao this is exactly what you need!

It's a good quality herb!

This chimarrão is great! The taste and smell are as genuine as it gets. Because I use a regular strainer-straw, I make a mix of this herb with a thicker Argentine Yerba mate. Proportion of: • about 2/3 of this herb (bright green on the video) • with 1/3 of the Argentine herb (thicker pale green - easier to find at the stores) This way my straw doesn’t get clogged with the powder. ☺️ p.s. I add chamomile (sometimes peppermint or rose) to it too 🌼 - I scoop it in separately

Gut verpackt, vakuumgepresst. Mate Tee mit einem sehr guten Geschmack. Es hinterlässt kein unangenehmes Sodbrennen. Die Wirkung ist in der Energie zu spüren, die für ein paar Stunden anhält. Sie hält einen sehr aktiv und macht auch geistig beweglich. Es kann mit einem Energy-Drink verglichen werden, allerdings mit dem großen Unterschied, dass es sich um ein Naturprodukt handelt, das aus den Blättern eines Baumes gewonnen wird. Ich mache eine Mischung dieser nicht trockenen Mate Tee mit einer anderen Mate Tee die völlig trocken ist und trinke sie dann. Dadurch erreiche ich eine bessere Wasseraufnahme in den Blättern.
