It did an amazing job of neutralizing brassy tones and leaving my blonde looking cooler, brighter, and more balanced. Great toner! I was pleasantly surprised how effective this toner is. I mixed T11 and T81 together and I'm happy with the outcome. I already have blonde hair naturally, with highlights. I wanted to freshen it up a bit so decided to see how this toner would work. Although it wasn't as light as I was hoping.. the beige blonde & light ash together really gives a nice natural blonde colour. It's a bit of a darker blonde (I love platinum/ash/whitey blonde as well) but this shade really quite suits my skin tone and looks way more natural. Definitely planning on buying a few more light blonde shades to try again in a few months! Hair was so healthy and glossy after! Does anyone know where do get the Wella 20 developer?? I could only find 10 on Amazon but am thinking maybe a 20 developer would have been even better! Highly recommended for anyone who's new to self toning... this was the first time I've ever tried toning my own hair!

Use only a 5 or 10 volume developer! And watch it in the mirror as it oxidizes to ensure it does not over process. Your hair must be at a level 9.5/10 for it to tone, otherwise it won't do anything or it will darken your hair and make it muddy. Done correctly, it will not damage and will turn out how you expect. I find Wella toners to last as well. I don't find it necessary to use toning shampoos or conditioners.

After years on and off of bleaching my hair, happy to have finally found a toner that gives me the blonde that I am happy with, and suits me. This toner gives me such a pretty blonde that isn’t too light, nor too dark - also doesn’t make my hair look silver or gray. It’s a pretty neutral type of blonde. Love it! Don’t see myself using any other toner unless I feel like changing up my look.

I started with a T14 toner, but it was still quite yellow so tried this T11. It is perfect & just the shade I wanted!
