I’ve suffered off and on with trapped nerves / knots in my back for a number of years. I have spent a fortune over the time on massages and physio sessions. As well as this I’ve had a Pulse Roll massager for years which I thought was good. This Thumper Pro Mini has worked so much better after only two sessions using it. Wish I’d read up on them a long time ago it would have saved a lot of money. It’s not cheap but from using it only twice it’s clear to see it will pay for itself. Obviously there are cheaper alternatives but after using it it’s 100% a case of “buy cheaper buy twice”. Power wise it is fine, ignore people saying that it has little power. In my opinion of using various systems this is as good as any for home use. Level 1 was all I used on my back to loosen up a very stubborn knot which my other massage gun wouldn’t remove at all. The two positions of massage “balls” on it work well to hit either side of any knots or directly on top of them. They fit perfectly either side of the spine also. The balls are soft enough to not have the uncomfortable feeling the massage “guns” can give where you feel itchy, but also solid enough to do the trick of actually massaging. No issues where it feels as though the contact massage points and “hammering” off more boney areas. Comfortable all round. Wire is nice and long to reach from a plug socket without restriction. Design is good for reaching around your back either laying face down or standing up if you have no one else to help out. I read about issues with the positioning of the power / speed button getting knocked off while using it but didn’t notice this at all. Also was used twice for 30 mins or longer without any overheating cut off. Noise wise it’s not very loud. It’s not quiet but no machine if this type ever will be silent. All in all very happy with it and would love to try out a Thumper Maxi Pro in the future if the price was right as I could imagine this being even better.

I've suffered with a bad back for over 12 years (following a slipped (disc L4/5) and operation in 2002). Since then I've suffered sparodically with back pain and tried countless gizmos and gadgets to relieve the pain but nothing has worked quite as well as my Thumper mini 2. I didnt even know this thing existed until my Chiropractor used his on me a few weeks ago. Unlike every other 'massager' I've tried this really does penetrate right into the body (not just the surface) and the vibration on the handle is kept to a bare minimum, something that every other massager I've tried has failed at. It's also extremely quiet, making a rather soothing 'humm' sound as opposed to the loud 'brrrr' of cheaper devices. It comes with a very useful 12ft power cable and the handle is just the right length to allow you to get to every part of your body when using it on your own. It's also perfectly weighted so you just rest it on the part you want to massage and it'll do the rest, there's no need to push down or provide extra weight. It is undeniably expensive but let's face it, when you're in pain (particularly long term) you'll pay just about anything for something that promises to relieve the pain and it does this very well indeed. My Chiropractor was obviously impressed enough to use one of these in his clinic, and to my mind there is no better endorsement. The only trouble now is wrestling it off my wife who loves it too!

I have just recieved this item. After some exercises I had a strong blockage in my spine and it went to the neck and jaws, making me feeling headaches and just moving became uncomfortable. After 10 mins of use I feel my body much more flexible and most of the pain went away, there is something left though. The switch - it does look crappy and cheap indeed, should be careful with it. The item has about right weight to put some pressure, you can hold it with your hand making lowering the pressure, you can put it to rest on your body and working with its own weight, or you can add your own weight. This device does not need you to lean on it, or use your body mass. I did use this machine on my neck, head and even jaws - no problems. I dont understand this manual user guide and other reviews which says not to, I dont see any danger as you hold it in your hands and control the pressure, though you should not use it on your bones directly. I used it by turning a little bit, so only one massager pressuring these points, like on a jaw. Percussion feels very different from "shiatsu massagers", its not really painful but you feel some kind of tickling when it is on the blockage. And it does get removed or significantly less tighten. The thing is i went through alot of professional massages, and most of it, they were able to locate tightness but cannot remove it by hands, its also quite painful, takes alot of time (45-90mins). This think is costly 175 pounds, but this cost is worth 2-3 massages, so you get your money back quickly and save alot if you dont need traditional massages anymore.

I have been using this massager for about a year now and have recommended it to a lot of people so thought I should write a review on it! I do HIIT workouts every day and run around 25km a week so I am fairly athletic, and I use this massager most nights when I chilling watching the TV and my god it's the best money I have ever spent I haven't had to go to the chiro or needed any physical therapy whatsoever since I bought it, and I used to have near constant back problems. Really gets into your glutes and quads if you know how to use it. Some of the other reviews say they have to press really hard but that is actually not how you're supposed to use it - for really deep massage you stick it on the highest setting, get yourself into a position in which the muscle is under no tension (I lie on my side and do the half of my upper and lower body that's not on the sofa) and run it over your muscles, holding in place when you hit a really sore spot, if you then breathe deeply and hold it in place without pushing down on it, it will get those knots and niggles out like a dream. Most chiropractors will have the £299 version which you can use on yourself (my chiro did and that's why I bought this one), so it's a trusted brand and I highly recommend it, absolutely the best money I have spent in the past year.

I'm a clincial massage therapist and prefer not to use tools but this is useful for clients who are just so tight on the back and glutes that it does save time by loosening the tissue so I can really get in there to sort out trigger points. However it is quite heavy and awkward to hold, and I can't use it for long or my hands start to go a bit tingly and numb. Not sure it was worth the investment for me to be honest as I don't use it very much, but I can use it on myself in places which is nice.

Cracking bit of kit! My chiropractor uses this in his sessions so I had to get one. Toss up between this and the sport which is £60 cheaper. Went for this after finding a comparison video on YouTube. It’s really powerful and gets deep into the muscles. The missus wasn’t happy I spent £200 but then changed her mind once I used it on her lower back and shoulders! Highly recommend this product!

I had to have back treatment a few weeks back and asked the physio what the make was, so to cut a long story short i ended up buying the smaller version of this fantastic device, when ever i got that sharp pain in my back building up i would lower the thumper down my back ( i attached a bit of cord to the loop by the handle it saved me stretching my arm down my back) and left it in one place for about a minute then swung it over a bit for another minute, the relief was instant! I would highly recommend the Thumper to any one that has back problems.......because this thing works!! I know its expensive but it is money well spent, its got 3 thumping levels i always have it on maximum, it is bliss! It's also great for cramps cos it relaxes the muscle before it tightens up,

I had the previous version of this and been using it for 8 years. It broke and I had to replace it. I got the same model but this is newer. It's terrible. The power isn't as strong, when you press hard it goes off. It over heats after 4 minutes. It pinches your skin all the time. When using the device the power button keeps getting knocked , it's too easy to hit the button. The worst design ever. They need to bring the old model back.

This thing is so sturdy and definitely feels like a “buy it for life” product. It’s very powerful and in a lot of ways I prefer it over a professional masseuse. I’m able to target my problem areas and get instant relief that lasts hours!

Ya comprando mi segunda Mini Thumper Pro, la primera quemo despues de 10 años de uso super intensivo. Una amiga siempre llegaba a mi casa sola para su masaje thumper! La tecnologia Thumper (originalmente diseñado para caballos) hace una penetracion muy agradable y profundo que no tiene igual. En sus propio manos, la maquina deshace nudos en segundos, los vibraciones llega hasta los musculos y tejidos mas profundos y escondidos, donde es imposible llegar. Es un placer usarla, es muy facil, el diseño de la maquina encuentra nudos sin ayuda. Solo tocarle su cuello, espalda, o pasa sus pies encima de las 2 bolas, y en 10 minutos duermes en una calma de lo mas profundo. Dejar gastando tanto con visitas a las masajistas o hueseros, usted eres su mejor doctor, porque usted sabes donde duele y donde lo necesitas mas, y puedes hacerlo todo los noches en su cama, sin ningun esfuerzo. Saca dolores que estaba molestandose y debilitandose por años, en 30 segundos o menos!

J ai découvert ce produit lors d une séance chez ma chiropracteur. Elle l utilise dans son cabinet. Cela m avais fait un bien fou au bas du dos. Muni des références je suis parte à la recherche de ce produit sur le net. De nombreuses contrefaçon existent, je voulais vraiment avoine produit de la marque thumper. Amazon le livrait en quelques jours, et le prix est beaucoup moins cher que sur les sites spécialisés. Le prix étant conséquent, cela a été un cadeau d anniversaire, franchement je l adore !! C est un appareil vibrant, qui tapote les muscles et les détend top pour les trapèzes contractés après une journée d écran, une merveille pour le dos , on ressent une sensation de chaleur et de confort. Une séance bien être à domicile !! Il active la circulation du sang sur la zone posée et peut donner une impression de démangeaisons à la fin de la séance.. Je suis ravie de cet achat, j ai beaucoup moins mal au dos et aux muscles depuis, on peut l utiliser sur les genoux, bras etc... Mes parents, âgés, ont été conquis également.
