This cooktop is very well built. The grates are very heavy and clean up easily. It gets very hot very quickly. We had it converted to propane and will never have an electric cooktop again. It looks wonderful and has inspired me to cook a much wider variety of food. The wok attachment also works for my large stockpot. The grill/griddle from Lodge cookware fits perfectly. I love this cooktop. The only negative I have seen is the stainless steel can scratch. I’m going to purchase a stovetop protector to keep it like new. Highly recommend.

While this product is very nice and well built it’s not really much different other then the upgraded iron grills then my uncles 30 year old model.it lags a little on gas release and the ignition system is a bit temperamental and loud.but once started creates a lot of heat and works great at that point. I would not say that the price is worthy of the product in my opinion at $1500 more likely is in the $600 too $800 range but since I installed it it is what it is lol

Sleek and modern look with powerful, consistent and precise heat supply. I just finished a kitchen renovation and did A LOT due diligence regarding the choice of appliances. I am very glad that I bought the Fotile brand cooktop and vent hood. First of all, the workmanship is outstanding. When I opened the package, everything sits tight in the module foam, the build is heavy and sturdy, not to mention the refined edges. Every bit of the details tells me it’s worth the price. The installation is relatively easy, but I noticed someone mentioned in the comment section, the mid burner sometimes turned itself off. I addressed the concern with my contractor, he suggested premium stovetops usually automatically cutoff the gas when it leaks. I went back to the item description, and yes, there it is, so be sure to tighten up the gas connection. All and all, I’m very happy with the purchase. The only compliant to Fotile is that they only have 24’ built-in ovens, but the most common oven pantry like the one we have is 30-in wide. Otherwise I really would try their steamer oven instead of the pricy Viking.

I was planning to purchase the Samsung cooktop however delivery times were 60+ days and I needed a replacement for a broken GE cooktop. I found this on Amazon and was concerned about quality, fit etc. I took a risk and ordered and could not be happier. Packaging and documentation was perfect. Installation was very easy and quick and the unit looks fantastic, works as advertised and looks classy. The controls work well, the knobs are very robust and the central burner puts out a LOT of heat....Couldn’t be happier with this choice.

This is on the pricier side, but does have the most powerful center burner I could find. It’s excellent for wok stir fry. Even better: using an IR camera, the center burner heats pans extremely evenly. Buy this if you ever wanted restaurant grade stir fry at home. Install was easy enough. Just needed to buy a gas line kit.

Great cooktop - durable and built to last.

Ordered this cooktop back in February and within a month of usage, the center burner would automatically shut off all of a sudden (see attached video). Contacted fotile through email and at first they were responsive at first and asked me to try several different solutions. Mind you, this product became defective within a month of usage and had a five year warranty and they wanted me, the customer to attempt to fix the problem instead of sending a technician out. Regardless, I followed all their instructions such as using a sandpaper to clean a certain valve, and the problem still persist. I emailed the customer service back and this is the point where they started ignoring emails. I had not hear back from them in more than two weeks until I filed a dispute with Amazon, at which point they said that they would mail out a part and wants me to find a contractor to install it. Again, what good is the warranty if I have to do everything myself? Of course this problem occurred right after the return window expired. Bottom line: don’t be fooled by the five year warranty they offer. For a product that’s over $1000, The customer service is non-existent if they don’t know how to solve the problem. Terrible experience. Think twice before buying.
