Very happy with electric blanket. Heats up pretty quickly about 10mins on high setting. I chose this because of the single control unit and rating, as I sleep by myself and didn't want two set of control units and wasnt sure if I chose a dual one if I had to turn both on for both sides to heat up and also didn't want the connection end in two places near the pillow area. I also set the blanket up upside down, so the control unit and connection point is on the right side of the bed which I generally do not use, I mainly sleep on the left and middle of the bed. The blanket heats up on both sides (underneath and top) so makes no difference as the heating element is in the middle of the fabric. The blanket is large enough for a double bed and covers the main area. I nearly chose the queen size, but I wasn't fussed about heating the very edges of the bed, if you are over 6ft tall then going extra size will be worthwhile. Now I'm nice and cosy, with levels 3 & 4 hot enough. It has a 4 hour auto shut off. Purchase this last week for £36 and seen due to cold snap price has gone up to £40. I looked at other more expensive blankets £66 area but they all have similar negative points, so went cheap and cheerful. Happy with purchase. Just wished my throw blanket got as hot, but none of them do!

This is the best thing. Great quality. Perfect that you can switch on which side you want so my husband doesn't roast next me me. Heat settings are brilliant and warms up quickly. I do fit it sleeps down the bed over a week.

A great purchase. Having a warm bed to go to on a cold night brings a silly smile to my face every time. Unfortunately, after 2yr 3 months it suddenly stopped working. HOWEVER, the manufacturer replaced it. Outstanding customer service.

This electric underblanket is really good — it takes a little while to warm up, but once it does, it puts out plenty of heat. I love that it’s dual control, so my partner can have theirs on while I leave mine off, or vice versa. It’s a really practical feature that makes sharing a bed much more comfortable. The controls are easy to use, and it’s great that there’s an “off” button on either side, so you can switch it off easily in the dark. My only minor gripe is that it’s not immediately obvious which side is low and which is high, so it can take a moment to figure out in low light. It also requires being plugged in on both sides — not a problem for us, but something to be aware of depending on your bed setup. Overall, it’s well-made, effective, and comfortable. Definitely a cozy addition for colder nights, especially if you like controlling your own side of the bed.

Easy to use. Bought my single adult kids as an extra for Christmas and they loved them. I used mine in my king sized bed as I'm now widowed and I still felt warm, even when turned down. Easy to use and keep clean too.

My old, and much-loved electric blanket having given up the ghost after many years, I was hoping to find one just as good. I am still hoping, but this is not the one. I did not actually get around to plugging it in, because of problems with the overall size and fitting. First, it is not 135cm wide for a double bed. It comes in at just under 125cm. This might not be a problem if the fitting for the cable was very near the edge, but it was actually a very solid lump that imposes itself on the sleeping area. It means that whoever is lying on the side where the cable plugs into the blanket is inevitably going to be lying on a solid, very uncomfortable plastic lump. It also means that the heating does not reach all the way to the sides of the mattress. Second, instead of being fitted like a fitted sheet (and like my old electric blanket), or with four elastics to attach to each corner, there were only two elastics - one for the entire width of the mattress at each end, with nothing to stop the entire electric blanket shifting up and down the bed. This is absolutely not what I was looking for, so I have just started the Returns process. Two stars only because I never got around to switching it on and have no idea whether it heats up effectively or not.

Good quality product, Just place it under the sheet turn it on for half hour before you go to bed and you’ll have a warm bed for all night.
