Awesome stuff
Great material for soldering in copper and protecting anything from high temp MAP gas torches. You can hold your hand under it while you blast a torch on it .

Building a faraday cage? This is what you want.
I knocked off a couple stars because it's very powdery and not very durable. The thickness is right, it cuts nicely into the size you need and it does the job of keeping away flames and signals. No idea about warmth but I feel I got good value out of this purchase. To repeat, the functionality is 100% just use glue and packing tape to stop it from getting fibers in your skin.

I do not think pure Carbon/read
This stuff ended up with anyone who even touched the table it was on getting painful fibers all over in their hands and we all went through a roll of packaging tape to help. I am assuming fiberglass and has been thrown out
