blue packets that i originally ordered are very difficult to tear open. new green packets are redesigned to tear open easily . without even asking, the seller sent me a second order with the new designed easy open green packs. Excellent customer service! been using the product for several days now after a nasal surgery and to my surprise the salt doesnt burn like i expected and dissolves within seconds in filtered water warmed for 15 seconds in microwave to about body temp. I warm the water prior to adding product. Thank you again for the excellent customer service and the great product reasonably priced.

Works just like other saline rinses.

The packets are a little more challenging to open and could be difficult for someone with mobility issues/arthritis. The packets were not as smooth feeling while I was using the neti pot compared to the original brand. There was some slight burning/discomfort but it was definitely tolerable. It is an effective product and I am happy with the results.

These are good and work as advertised.

July 2025 (update): I received a message from the sender 3 days after my original review. They were apologetic and let me know my satisfaction was important to them and that they would work to resolve the issue. They sent me a new package of newly designed salt packets that could be torn open without the need for scissors. I attached a picture of the before and after packets. I'm very impressed with the way they quickly addressed my concern. They owned the fact that the original packaging design was not good and resolved the defect with a newly designed packet. I updated my rating from 3 stars to 5. I'm very pleased to see this kind of customer service. June 2025 (original review): I gave this item 3 stars because you have to use scissors to open the salt packet. The salt works fine, it's just the packaging. This makes it hard to use these when I travel. I don't usually carry scissors around with me. I could buy a small pair just for this, but it's annoying that I would even need to do that.

So I have been using a Neilmed nasal bottle for literally over ten years and they are fabulous! I also would order their saline packages sort of on automatic pilot since I was so happy with the system. As everything else prices have increased and when I was getting ready to order more I did an Amazon search and found this product for 30% less and gambled given the price difference. Very good decision! I even like them better even if they don't have baking soda as a buffer! There were some reviews with complaints about hard to open but the reviewers tried to open them with their hands instead of just cutting the end off with scissors. This actually makes them even better than the before mentioned square packages since they are easier to get into the rinse bottle without having to blow up the square package and still spilling salt all over the place! If you are a regular user these are the cats meow, believe me......!!!!

Using 300 ml distilled water and a packet - comparable quality with the NeilMed rinse with 60 ml leftover for a gargling. The NeilMed bottle only contains 240 ml to fill line. Have to use a measuring cup to dilute the packet first otherwise the concentration will be top strong and “burning “ sensation will happen.

I bought the green rather than the white because it has sodium bicarbonate and matches the ingredients closer NeilMed, which I’m used to. It comes in a vacuum-sealed bag. Pouches are easy enough to tear open. Just be careful to go straight across or slightly down. I tore one pouch and it was still sealed. They are made of metallized PET plastic, so they’re not recyclable. As for feel, I don’t notice a difference between this and the NeilMed pouches. I use the SinusRinse bottle with one pouch and distilled water. There is no burning or discomfort. There is no noticeable difference in time it takes to dissolve, and I believe it completely dissolves in the water. The price is what really stands out and makes this a great value. I will update if I try a hypertonic solution. I hope you have found this review helpful!

I was thrust into the world of rinsing my sinuses regularly after... Not one... Not two... But three lots of sinus surgery within 12 months! 🤣 Part of my recovery was to rinse multiple times are my surgery. These handy size packets were easy to use as it's all measured out. Miss with boiling hot water.. Allow to cool and away you go. It does not sting when you use. I would day it was good value for money. Especially when you are recovering from surgery and you aren't feeling very well... These are all set for you. I know friends that rinse with that too help with colds and hay fever ect.
